To me, our choices tonight are:

1. Make an attractive but reasonable package offer for KP
2. Do no, under any circumstances, trade for Butler or PG13
3. If we keep the pick, draft Tatum. Isaac looks OK, but unfinished, and JJ is redundant. We don't need DSJ, or any other guard.

If 1 or 3 happen and 2 doesn't, I will be happy. There are other deals that can happen, trade down, move the pick all together, etc. I just dont hear or see much on anything else going on so using the info we have available.

We should draft Josh Jackson, he has crazy upside, great defense and his offense being bad is overblown. Worst case we can trade him to a team that really wants him for a stud (Knicks, Bulls, Pacers)

Did you not see step 2 in the draft strategy? PG13 on a 1 year rental? Jimmy Butler on a 2 year rental? These the players you want to hitch your wagon to? SMH. Give me 2-3 years of good showings but falling short while building a core, over 2 years of losing in the ECF again, at the expense of our young pieces and assets.

I'd much rather watch Jaylen, Tatum, Smart, IT come up together, then to have to trade away pieces to get someone who is not staying long term anyway.

Jackson is fine, but we have Jaylen, he is redundant. If we keep the pick, we take the player we want, not the player we hope to dangle to some other team.

Piecing together the different takes, I'm assuming the Ainge is offering #3, either the 18 Brooklyn pick or the SAC pick and either Brown or Crowder. But the Knicks want either both Brown and Crowder or both picks

Do you pull the trigger if the Knicks are targeting both picks together (or even Brown and Crowder)?

On espn the jump they said the knicks want the 3 pick, next years unprotected nets pick, Jaylen, and Jae. Sorry Phil, I'll pass.

There's also a rumor of us talking with the t-wolves for the 7 pick. I'm thinking maybe thibs wants Avery. A veteren who is a excellent defender and also played for him.
