This series has been an ass kicking but the positive is that it's exposing us for what we really are. A scrappy overachieving club that is way too small, is terrible defending the paint, and has basically one player who can create his own shot. And that one player has been shut down. It's shown us that we are still not at that championship level just yet. Maybe we can curb the talks about throwing big money at good (not great players), and trading our young assets away for players who won't put us over the elite of the league. During the season I was all for giving Isaiah a big contract, but he's looking real funny in the light. At least we have one more season to really see if we're willing to give him a max deal or just a very good deal.

Oh well, at least we made it this far and got the first pick.

We need to play Jaylen Brown and Terry Rozier 40 plus minutes the next 2 games. See what the future holds because the present is currently dreary.

Sit Isaiah for the rest of the series. He's our MVP but he's physically exhausted.

They told me Danny Ainge was one of the worst GMs in the league.:russ:

They told me the Celtics are the most overrated #1 seed in the league's history.:troll:

They told me the bulls are a serious threat.:skip:

They told me wall was better than Isaiah Thomas.
:ld:

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
How is IT better than Wall ? U think that the C's would even consider Fultz if they had Wall? think about it

IT outplayed wall, wall was too tired and Isaiah closed them out

If the wizards had the number one pick they'd probably trade it due to having beal and wall long term and wanting to win now

Lot of fraud Celtic fans getting exposed

We don't want you

Beginning of the year we just wanted out of the first round now we make it to the conference finals and people wanna blow it up?

Isaiah is hurt

They don't have to blow it up. But it must be recognized that this is the peak as long as they have this core (I.e. IT, Horford, Bradley & Crowder as the four best players). Beating Wizards-caliber teams and getting fukked by great teams.

If they want to achieve more than that then moves must be made, it's that simple :yeshrug:

Yeah the C's built as is have peaked. Crowder is a 7th man at best on a real contender. Have to hope Hayward joins to add much needed scoring.

A scenario that's intrigued me for a bit has been packaging Crowder & Rozier to get a big to pair with Horford. This could probably only happen if Hayward doesn't come but I think Brown can be a starter next year and that also opens up more minutes for Fultz, while simultaneously providing an upgrade over the disaster at PF.

That works too. Crowder lost a fan in me over this playoff run.
