Kobe on Isaiah:

"I love watching IT play. Is he a superstar? I don't even know what that means. All I know is he goes out and competes every single night. He's been playing at a level rarely seen. And he's been doing it all year. If Russell and James hadn't put in the outrageous seasons they had, you'd all be talking about Isaiah."

The advice he gave to Isaiah:

"I told him, 'Listen, I don't know whether you should decide to play or not play. Obviously, none of us can begin to fathom what you are going through right now. But then I told him, 'The one bit of advice I would give you is, if you are going to play, then you gotta play. Maybe you can find some peace in moments out there.'"

"If you ever need anything, just reach out. I'm here for you."

Kobe Bryant reveals the advice he gave Celtics PG Isaiah Thomas

I don't think we have the juice to compete with the Wizards. Our role players are bums

What Boston needs to do to beat the Wizards (tl;dr version):
1. Stop the long runs by Washington
2. Play Olynk more (and Amir less)
3. Give Jaylen more minutes
4. Shoot better from the 3
5. Feed off our home crowd

What Needs to Happen for Boston to Advance

I forgot Jaylen was on the team until the middle of the 4th Q last game. He should def be getting more minutes.

I don't know how I feel about Olynk. He missed every wide open 3 he had the other night. Guys a bum

"It turns out the Celtics don’t need Isaiah Thomas to drop 53 points for them to have a chance to win after all. Thomas finished with a steady 18 points and nine assists in the Celtics’ 123-101 victory, giving them a 3-2 advantage in the Eastern Conference semifinal series. It’s a fine stat line that also hints at the real story. Thomas’s supporting cast was stellar from beginning to end. For once, The Little Guy’s burden was eased."

Can't be mad about last night's effort. And I can't say that I'm surprised.

Game 7 at home. We're closing out this series.

We should have won the game though. 1 min left and we up 5. IT/Stevens should have called a timeout after the trap. The teammates should have ran to help. That turnover cost us the game.

Celtics fans,

Which scenario would you like to see play out:

A win tonight and the #4 pick in tomorrow's lottery.

or

A loss tonight and the #1 pick in tomorrow's lottery.

This question was asked by the crew at the Sports Hub.
