Logan has more experience fighting and knows more disciplines but his healing factor has made him reckless just jumps right in since he really has not much to worry about

also watching x-men the animated series on disney+ reminded how Logan would rush into things and get bushed for his efforts

During the OG Secret Wars, Doctor Doom gave the Absorbing Man's current girlfriend (Titania) her powers. Class 85-90 strength range. Titania went on to beat She-Hulk nearly to death.

Being that Spider-Man and She-hulk were kinda cool, Pete was kinda pissed about it.

He went on to beat Titania so bad, that she developed a permanent fear/phobia of Spider-Man that lasts until this day.

not a fear/phobia of spiders, mind you. She's deathly afraid of Spider-Man.


He solo'ed the Fantastic Four waaaay early. In like their 6th issue in the 60s

He's flat out embarrassed the whole of an X-men team in a fight

There's a reason his six main bad guys have joined up to beat just him numerous times.


with that said, I'll admit that even though Pete stays holding back, Cap has put the beats on Pete damn near every time they've actually fought.

I think he was talking more to his combat techniques. SPiderman is clearly stronger and has more abilities than Cap, that would give him an advantage in a fight.
But if you took away their powers and put them in a black panther ritual type fight. Cap would easily whoop spidermans ass. Spiderman acts off instinct and spidersense, but he doesn't really have a true hand to hand skillset on that level.

And yeah, if Shang Chi had Cap's stat boost, perfect brain and lack of fatigue, he'd be better than Cap.

and yeah, everybody beats or stalemates everybody some kinda way sometimes.

Black Cat has a flat out win over Sabertooth, Arsenal of all people has a flat out win over Deathstroke. Bullseye killed Gambit once. Gamora has a solo win over Thanos, although they were just sparring. Black Panther nearly making Silver Surfer tap out on some UFC shyt is legendary at this point.

I try to ignore that kinda stuff unless I'm trolling for lulz.

To be fair tho, as great as X-men TAS was and them doing interesting twists to classic stories that mostly worked, they kinda herbed and nuetered damn near everyone. I'm rewatching the series now with my daughter and notice it even more now than as I kid (I noticed it then as well too).

Actually, I don't think you've thought this one through before you typed it, breh. A stripped of powers fight of Steve Rogers vs. Peter Parker would be a battle for biggest loser, but Peter would still have the physical advantage, easily.

I just mean as regular humans without enhanced abilities. Not preserum midget steve. He'd still be a dude with mastery of several martial arts. Peter would just be a random dude. Peter without his powers goes right back to being bullied by highschool kids, Cap without serum is a flyweight championship fighter.

I never knew Cap was Weapon 1. He was part of the Weapon X program? When did this happen?

The entire Weapon program is an ongoing attempt to replicate Erskine's accident that created Cap. Basically they want a controllable Cap with no conscience who takes orders and doesn't go off the rails.



And this is a waste of time discussion because Cap will forever have plot armour. Realistically you claw off whatever arm is holding his shield and all the reflexes in the world after that won't stop him from getting Vitamix'd.

Pre-serum Steve is him at his regular human self. You can't keep moving the goalposts breh, lol. And the reason he's a master of those martial arts is cuz of the serum boosting everything about him, that also being his brain and body's natural learning capacity. If it's all stripped away, that goes his physical capability to even use what he's learned effectively. Let alone he'd lack the strength behind anything.
