If you are talking greatest voice ever, yes it is Whitney Houston. She is on that elite level with Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Patti LaBelle, Stephanie Mills and some others, and gun to my head I would put her as #1.

Aretha Franklin and Whitney, Adele is up there now.

No she’s not.. Adele don’t even sing better than other white D listers like Jojo, Yebba and Tori Kelly..
Adele been fukkin up songs live at award shows having to start over for the last 10 years.

Young Beyoncé was FIRE

Her range and tone was legit amazing. Once she got older and her voice deepened and someone told her she can rap….that was it.

But from Dangerously in Love until that single ladies shyt, she was a beast.

She's by far the best of this generation. Aretha and Whitney are the only women I can think of that's better.



Off the top of my head I'd put Bey, Lalah Hathaway
Jazmine Sullivan, before her...just to name a few

Based off skill

They have more range, agility, etc...better technique

At least from what I've heard

Can't deny she has the adult contemporary pop lane on lock though
