Yea this was some andy cap voodoo because this gives us his full bird rights next year. Its about to be some 3 team
Fukkery just for us to get under the cap and flab melo

:russ:
I'm just noticing the familiar pattern. Riley is always quiet when he's up to something.
  • He'll do something that doesnt make sense.
  • Then rumors start to fly that he's after player xyz and he'll vehemently deny it saying "nothing is in the works but we're always talking to people".
  • Then next thing you know you get some fukking ESPN or Woj alert
We've seen this with both the Jermaine and SHaquille Oneal deals and the Sean Marion deal and countless others.

It's about loyalty. He should have gotten it from us. :birdman:
Once Wade retires Micky owes it to Wade to drive to Wade's house with a car full of cash and then forget to take the car with him when he leaves.
And i'm not talking about just the trunk, either :ufdup:At lease a Honda Civic or a Fiat :why:
:heh:We gonna talk about loyalty when he didnt even tip the front office off that Bron was..i'm not even going down this road again, the check cleared and thats all that matters.

Wade did not know Bron was leaving, but Riley should have read the situation. Bron was acting shifty, reports were he was leaving, and Riley decides to draft Shabazz off a tweet and when they texted Lebron for input on draft and FA strategy, he ghosted them. Riley saw what he wanted; he fukked up and wanted someone to blame.

I dont believe he knew Lebron was leaving for sure until the last minute. LeBron always keeps people in the dark. But it's been clear that you believe what you wanna and have a bit of an ax to gring over that whole debacle.

Personally i didnt fault Lebron for leaving. Being an immigrant myself i understand the notion of wanting to "go home" . Sure he went home and left again but the feeling of wanting to be home and embraced by YOUR people is something that I can relate to. You've probably been home all your life so i dont expect you to get the way i feel about that sentiment. I have no beef with LeBron. Him playing it the way he did was his "business decision" as some would say.

Heat so far is drawing a line in its bid to shed salary. Here’s how.

Two high-ranking executives with other teams said this week that Hassan Whiteside, Tyler Johnson and Dion Waiters have all been made available by Miami in trade discussions.

But they said that in their team’s conversations with Miami, the Heat has not offered a first-round pick, Justise Winslow, Josh Richardson or any of its other appealing assets as a carrot for a team to take on any of those contracts.

If a deal gets done, especially now with Wayne re-signing, that's going to change. I think they'll buy out Tyler next year and package Whiteside with someone else this year to open up cap space for next year.

The idea that someone would only take Whiteside or Tyler without an additional asset. :lolwade:

Dion's bum ass is only making 11.5 next year and they gotta attach an asset to get rid of him? :mjlol:

Yeah, the bum ass nikka has 3 years left on his deal. No one wants to pay him for that long.

Same story with James Johnson

The problem is.. you’ve got these old dudes making decisions and they don’t want to destroy and rebuild because they know their gonna die soon. Harsh realities.

I would definitely throw Winslow or Bam in the trade if it meant getting rid of that horrendous Tyler/Whiteside deal

Dragic would be on the block as welll

GMs aren’t high on Waiters so this isn’t surprising. He’s obviously talented but who wants to pay him for 3 more years when he does absolutely nothing to turn any decent team into a contender?

My brother's keeper
Like I said im not going down that path again. Both sides made a choice, he got his money elsewhere, and ended up back here. Aint nothing else to complain about. They mended the fences so maybe one day the fans can too.
we also got what we wanted. a middling team busy going nowhere while in the tax. Was obvious how shyt would turn out unless you were on the Godfather train. Hindsight isn't necessary here.
