I've been for getting rid of Winslow for the longest because I feel like he'll never reach his true potential in this system and all he will do here is aggravate the fukk out of me and some of you.
But he still got stans in the fanbase while the front office still seem to like and have hope for him so

I actually like Winslow. If we were to somehow get rid of dragic, I would want him to start at PG. I think his ceiling is really high at that position.
Unfortunately, it will never happen bc our coach has no clue what type of offense he’s running.
They’ve got Bam bringing the ball up in summer league, running point forward smh. He’s got no business doing that. He should be working on his perimeter shooting as well as his perimeter defense bc he can be an elite 4 in this league if he developed the right way.

Spoke is doing the best he can with what he has.
Spo is big on "position-less basketball" so he'd have no problem plugging Winslow in at PG and he did just that last year in preseason and at the beginning of the year. He then switched to James Johnson because James Johnson IS JUST BETTER right now, period.
He has Dragic who is probably our best player (outside of maybe Wade) and Dragic can't play nothing else but PG or some 2. He has no-one else that can be a playmaker while keeping defenses honest.HHe'saalso paying Dragic $19M for another 2 years.
Winslow can be a playmaker but no opposing coach or defender worth his salt gonna worry about Winslow consistently finishing at the rim when he does get by his man.
I can't believe you all acting like we weren't seeing Winslow on the court with him being the only ball handler along with bigs and shooters last year. But the offense was stagnant when he did it. Dude would always just drive by his man with ease and if he didn't find a man to dump it to he'd get stuck under the rim with nowhere to go but some wild ass kickout to the corner. If he could finish consistently he'd have collapse and he'd have better passing lanes.
Put in James Johnson and the offense excelled. No-one is gonna sacrifice an entire season trying to develop Winslow as a PG when the current squad is a legit playoff team

fukk the contracts, we got a pick. Make Waiters, TJ, Hassan miserable, don't pay them heavy. Let Winslow/Jrich/Bam get 36+ mpg a night and let the chips fall where they may. We ain't winning shyt so every night those young guns aren't being put through the ringer is a loss for the future.
