In order to move some of these guys we would have to Package Richardson and/or Winslow to sweeten up the deal

Winslow would be the easiest bc of his salary.

Riley bout to win executive of the year with the fleecing and finessing he about to pull to get rid of these contracts
Dragic and TJ contracts have probabilities to be moved because those contracts are going to expire in two years. Those contracts are not as detrimental to salary cap compare to other contracts that were given to James Johnson, Dion Waiters, and Whiteside. These players-- Whiteside, Waiters, and James--have played below the value of their contracts. I doubt Riley can pull a magical stunt to make these contract disappear from the salary cap. :ld:

A lot of this is easy to say in hindsight. Dragic was bought here to play with Wade and Bosh, we never saw it. It's no fault of the organization that Bosh had a health issue, obviously that core would have been able to make some noise in the playoffs. I can appreciate the moves to try to stay competitive. What kind of send off would that have been for Wade to max him out and play his final years on tanking teams just because LeBron left? They rebuilt as quick as they could with Bosh and signing Deng, and the Dragic trade..then Bosh got hurt it didnt work. We were a game away from the ECF, tried to get KD that summer, didnt work. They have to disregard what fans want because fans dont know, and they damn sure dont evaluate talent. Case in point @Freddie.Cane and I were the only ones beating down the door for Donovan Mitchell going up to the draft, look at last years offseason thread and see who these guys crying about tanking were ready to fall on the sword for.

edit: forgot @Armchair Militant was leading the Mitchell wagon too

And now we’re gonna get a whole lot less for him since Spo torpedoed his trade value by refusing to play him or involve him in the offense :martin:
I pray to God that Mickey confronts Spo about restricting Whiteside's minutes. The Heat made a huge mistake paying a center a max contract who was averaging 15 minutes a game in the playoffs. Spo didnt even play Whiteside in the closing minutes of game 5. :beli:

He set the tone in game 1 when he sat for 36 of the last 41 minutes. Game 4 was the only exception to this. He averaged 15 minutes the other 4 games, sometimes not even getting a single shot attempt. Now a ton of our cap space is taken up by a guy teams don’t bother guarding since they know he won’t get the ball in the few minutes he does play and they won’t give us much for him since they know Spo doesn’t value him at all and wouldn’t have played him anyway. I’m really curious to hear what he’s going to say about his issues with this staff once he’s traded.

I know it’s fukk Hassan, but watch him be productive on another team next year. He’s not going to be a star, but dude might be a DPOY next year.
Here's the question. Which team in the league is looking for a big man and will be open to pick up Hassan's max salary ? It's going to be tough to move Hassan out of Miami after he missed over 20 games and his performance output was minimize by the coaching staff.
