That draft was so funny to me looking back.
Okafor was a complete bust.
D’Lo was alright.
KP is probably the best or 2nd best player from the draft and Knicks fans freaked out about the pick at first.
And Mudiay and Hezonja ended up on the Knicks anyway.

No. I thought he was overdrafted to begin with. Dude dominated in college because of his relatively large size in relation to his competition but in the NBA the average PG is 6'3 so that mitigates his size advantage on top of that he has a poor jumpshot and doesn't drive to the basket in order to get some free throw often enough. I mean he's still pretty young and can improve but if he doesn't get his shot right or become a better defender he'll be riding farther and farther on the bench.

He was supposed to be a great athlete but nikka has no vert. So all he has is his build but like I said before nikka can't even take advantage of it cause he trash at finishing.


Decent ball handling and play-making and defense ain't even that great.
Been wanting Miami to blow up and suck enough to draft a Dukee or Bol Bol. Bustice will remain bustice.

You're talking out your a$$...he played the 4 at Duke and had to use speed & athleticism bc most of the players he defended were bigger than him

He had me fooled, I thought he had some Harden in his game if he kept working on it

Yep

If you look up the Heat off-season thread that year when we drafted them within an hour of us getting both of them I came into the thread and said "I don't know why but I have a damn good feeling about this Richardson kid." And here is is now giving us quality play for that 2nd round pick we spent on him.
Only thing is i always thought/hoped he'd be developed as a PG
Sad part is you have the big Winslow stans among Heat fans who hate J-Rich because they feel like he's getting the PT that should have gone to Winslow because they feel their boy is supposed to be special and shouldnt have to earn his to some degree. When J-RICH fukked around and had that shooting slump last year they were taking massing diarrheal shyts on the kid every chance they get on some "I told you. Why does he get all the PT and Winslow sitting?".
I'm not gonna name names. THey know who they are

Truth is Bustise is too passive while J-RICH has way more dog in him than Bustise ever will.

Russ is fine he just will never live up to the hype. IDK why people thought that since his athleticism coming out of OSU guaranteed him a low ceiling anyway. WCS finally settling into his roll as Deandre Jordan rim runner. About time since he can’t operate playing next to someone like Randolph. I also don’t think Winslow is that bad(unlike Johnson who I think sucks)He’s just in a bad situation playing next to such non dynamic players. He would eat next to someone like Steph or Russ. I mean look how spacing and a guard who draws the D in has done wonders for Stein. Winslow not doing any of that with Waiters or James Johnson

Stanley Johnson is better than Winslow
