Let him do it for half a season before anointing him...injury is an excuse,hes not injured this season and his numbers been mediocre up until recently...and even with the progression hes had his overrall numbers including his advanced stuff is incredibly average...
He hasn’t been PG this season until Dragic went down. He was playing as a small-ball 4 and wasn’t getting a chance to play his game.
Again, since he’s finally had a chance to run the offense rather than letting J-Rich, he’s been stellar. He’s turned into an extremely solid 3-point shooter too.
Justise is a PG that was playing small-ball 4 as the 5th option (Behind Wade, Dragic, J-Rich, and Whiteside) for a good chunk of the season. The Heat have had 16 starting lineups since the start of the season. What kinda chemistry do you think that builds
And what advanced numbers are you talking about? Since Winslow has ran point and taken over, the Heat have had the 7th best net rating in the league, have gone 10-6 after looking like the season would be one to tank, and without their best offensive player in Dragic.
His assist-to-turnover ratio is 2.56 over his last 15 games, and he’s had multiple games this month with double-digit assists and only one turnover.
. Next year I easily see him being a 17 PPG. 40 percent 3 point shooter with elite defense
