You have to go by the metric people are complaining about. They are complaining about DNPs, not minutes played.
Except they weren't just complaining about his DNP, they were complaining about his role, in general.
But to that point though -
When they were complaining about when Tatum got his DNP against Serbia in the pool game, they ran them muh'fukkas off the floor, beating them by 26 points, showing complete dominance from pretty much start to finish.
What could there possibly be to complain about?
They won.
And not only did they win, they won -- comprehensively -- dominating in almost every single fashion.
I can't fathom how we ended up coming out of that game and the main talking point from it was
x-player getting a DNP. That right there is what's the problem with the discourse around hoops. We've all lost our collective minds because of this culture of needing to create controversy out of the basketball orderly.
