IIRC, they were trying to get Charlotte's picks and not Miami's.

As bad as a disappointment and bust Winslow is Okafor will always be worse....hell out of the first 12 picks only 2 are legit allstars...one of which is injury prone and out and the other one is soft and mentally weak. The rest of them are huge busts. shyt is sad to see what the 2015 draft is turning into.
As for Winslow...it’s gotta be embarrassing for the heat knowing he was their 10 pick meanwhile they drafted Josh Richardson in the 2nd round at 40 and he’s way better than anything Justice will ever be

Naw WCS finally coming around and Russell is solid if anything. What’s funny is there are late round and 2nd rounders with more impact. In addition to Richardson, you got connaughton, osman, montrez all going in the second. fukking TJ McConnell wasn’t even drafted that year but he’s better then a bum like Hezonja

Yea I like WCS. Russell I thought should be better. He’s got the skills and talent but hasn’t put it together. He had a stretch during his rookie yr where he was really putting it together...then that snitching incident happened and completely clipped his wings. He’s way inconsistent for me.

Honestly not his fault they overhyped him.People saw the MARVIN WILLIAMS stimulus before he was drafted.Teams just don't care.
Russ is fine he just will never live up to the hype. IDK why people thought that since his athleticism coming out of OSU guaranteed him a low ceiling anyway. WCS finally settling into his roll as Deandre Jordan rim runner. About time since he can’t operate playing next to someone like Randolph. I also don’t think Winslow is that bad(unlike Johnson who I think sucks)He’s just in a bad situation playing next to such non dynamic players. He would eat next to someone like Steph or Russ. I mean look how spacing and a guard who draws the D in has done wonders for Stein. Winslow not doing any of that with Waiters or James Johnson

He was supposed to have elite shooting and passing ability coming out of college. Couple that with his size and you would def expect more. That nikka is taking 16 shots just to average 17ppg and shooting 40% from the field. Thats not very good. He has allstar talent but he's nowhere near that...that's why he's a disappointment in my book.
And I agree Winslow isn't that bad he's a solid playmaker and defender. But he shoots 32% 3 and 35% from the field and can't create his own shot. He's just a role player but unfortunately everyone projected him the next kawhi/butler
