KD finally reached 'good' defensive status in his career but you'll never see him picking up PGs or PFs and shutting them down like LBJ has been doing for years now.

Breh just take some time to research this ish and watch some tape. You'd be shocked. KD played ELITE defense last year. The tape will surprise you. There's a reason KD was top 10 in defensive wins shared and lebron wasn't even top 20. KD was also the 4th best Pick and Roll defender in the league and the 8th best isolation defender in the league according to synergy. If you're gonna argue, at least argue after reading this:

Miami was definitely on cruise control but I'm not sure if that's an excuse. That's what starts to happen when nikkas get old and defense is 80 percent effort. How I look at it is that Lebron is now 29. It's not out of this world to think he's gonna start slowing down a step. KD is 25. I don't even think this dude is in his prime. As fair as athleticism Bron has KD beat but people forget that KD is 6'10 with a 7'4" wingspan and he moves like a guard. That's outstanding. It's really not a stretch to believe that KD will now be the best player in the NBA.

Oh, it's not a reach at all. But it's also not like he'd be the only person in the discussion either. And LeBron likely actually has more than a couple of years on top.

But if Derrick Rose gets back to 100%, he'll be coming for that crown. So will Russell Westbrook. So will Blake Griffin.

The problem with pushing the Anthony Davis agenda is the fact that it's pretty premature. Expecting him to be better than Durant within the next two years is extremely hopeful. And don't count DeMarcus Cousins out of coming for that title of best in the league, if he's put in the right position/situation.
