Staham is like a more action/less martial arts oriented Van Damme. He knows his lane and he does it well. He is easily the best action star currently doing it and Sly was right to pass him the torch. Lets not act like the action stars of old were bringing home Oscars. He is an action star, he gets the job done.

Aight, to be more fair their shyts came out when I was a kid. But really though, even when Statham is the main character, dude just isn't that believable to me as a lead. He's like permanent henchman status to me for some reason. Could it be that Keenan Ivory Wayans sized dome or something?! Just can't root for that guy.

Lundgren was ill in Universal Soldier, Rocky 4, Showdown in Little Tokyo, He-Man.

Van Damme in Universal Soldier, Bloodsport, Kickboxer.
