Is there a comprehensive list of arguments for not having a child?

:wtf:Why did you post that. Have you never heard of a vasectomy? Do you think it’s a sin? I have two kids and had a vasectomy after. And I’m married. Lol
I had a strange epiphany about it (castration was forced upon sexually OR politically undesirable males in antiquity in many cultures)

Why do you ask if its a sin? :jbhmm:

Only having kids when I get rich. No way in the world am I gonna raise kids struggling. shyt even being rich alone doesnt assure my kids happiness.

But I would to bring em into this reality at the best possible starting point. The struggle shyt is not it. I dont even want my kids to have to worry about getting a degree in hopes of working a 9-5.

I want to have enough money where they can live life on the highest possible frequency. If I cant provide that I aint bringing em in here. I want em to live like how the elite live. Then use the resources I have accumulated to take it even a step further. Thats how we as a community should be moving collectively.

Sounds like you've bought the corporate propaganda hook, line, and sinker. Being rich isn't what brings happiness and satisfaction in life. I can't stand most of the rich people I know.

That's why you make sure you're a good father and have a good relationship with them along with letting them see YOU looking after their grandparents in their elderly age as they're growing up :sas2:

A lot you childless folk are gonna get that wake up call when y'all hit older age :sas2:
If me dying alone means no person will ever experience pain or suffering then so be it. I'm not afraid and don't need to scapegoat my descendants just for my comfort :manny:

Go ask any daycare in America to give you a printout of their prices and tack it up on a wall in your house. Any time you don't wanna strap up go read that printout. And daycare is only the beginning.

We've never paid for daycare in our lives and I doubt we ever will. For most of human history most people haven't. If you assume that's what's necessary for life then you're already fukking up.

It's a consequence of everyone feeling like they need two big incomes to make it, commute far, and live completely isolated from all extended family and social circles.

I literally say that in sentence number #3:skip:

Your entire argument assumes that wealth brings happiness, you only admitted that it doesn't assure happiness.

What you need to learn next is that being rich doesn't bring happiness at all. Once your main needs are met, there's no correlation between money and happiness. It's far more important to be a well-developed person who cares about what you're doing in life and has meaningful family connections and friendships.

Who is 'we'? Folks in your circle? Congratulations. But the daycare centers are thriving. Exceptions are not rules. As a rule. :pachaha: :pachaha: I'm sure most don't pay as they probably have a suitable setup. I could easily say most folks won't have that setup. If we go get 20 random families how many do you think will have the ideal setup that allows family to take care of kids full time?

About 1/3 of young children recieve care from a nonrelative on a regular basis, and for those who use childcare the average cost is about 7% of family monthly income. So the "norm" is not to pay for childcare like that. You kinda killed your own argument.

See above. And in very recent history there used to be even fewer people using childcare, but people are buying into the corporate propaganda that their life isn't complete unless both parents are in the ratrace 50 hours a week. When I grew up hardly anyone used regular pay childcare like that.

To answer the OP’s question in the title, there is a handbook of arguments.

Once again, if you want the response to every argument posted here from “It’s only natural” to “children to support me” to “I have the money” to “my child will do great things”. Peep the link.

there was a post in another thread talking about "the moons" effect on womens cycles, but what is rarely considered is the moons effect on testicles

the harpe is associated with cronus who's symbol is the crescent moon :hubie: thank you for the thought.

Why did you ask if its a sin? Moreover, why ask me what is Sin?

Bro I’m good on all the stuff you talking about. I am not seriously trying to ask you about what is and what isn’t a sin. I was simply wondering if that was your motive for posting that article as a response to a simple mention about a operation. You just explained your reasoning. Cool.. I did not enter this thread for this Convo bro lol. Take care
