Is there a black version of Ghengis Khan or Alxander the Great?

shyt is crazy.... I was a history genius among my classmates... Straight A's always.

I just LOVED history.

Advanced classes.

Got an A on the state exam....

It wasnt until I was older that I realized I NEVER really learned about any powerful black people

Only submissive black people that got dominated.

I had to study up and do my own independent research after I dropped out.

Cacs lying to us.

They aint tellin the whole story.

Our history doesn't start on slave ships.
I think the reason we aren't taught about it is because its relatively irrelevant. We're Americans, of course we're only gonna learn American stuff with an occasion European story. Historical Events and figures from Africa were rarely, if ever relevant to the western world.

hannibal barca gave the romans their biggest loss ever at the Battle of Canae, and came extremely to conquering Rome
western society is founded on greco roman values, yet africans are not relevant:russ:

We definitely went over Greek and Roman history at my schools and these were majority black schools breh.
I wish I went to your schools then, 99.9% of all my history were about America only exceptions were when we learnt about different religions.

That's incorrect the Mali empire did not have the military prowess of either the Mongols or Greeks. To answer the op the closest is shaka Zulu but the Zulu did not have a huge empire either. African warlords that create big successful empires are few and far in between. Most great empires in Africa were born of great wealth and culture.

This would be my pick.

He revolutionized warfare on his side of the world, turned a group of herdsmen into a warrior clan. He was a conqueror and a brilliant military mind, the tactics he came up with would be deployed by Cetshwayo to see the British Empire take their biggest L to an indegenous people at the Battle of Isandlwana.
