This. It got so bad that the man literally suffered from blood loss and wasn't active for a bit because every time he saw a woman, he'd have a massive nosebleed.
...But then again, when you consider where he was for two years prior, it kinda makes sense.
I remember back when he disappeared to go hang with Professor Ivy for a while.
Bruh came back so heartbroken to the point where any time someone said her name, he'd be in the corner unresponsive.

Honestly, if Krillin had the benefits of having the Zenkai boosts, he'd be way stronger than he is. Only reason why Goku and Vegeta are as strong as they are is because back in the day, they got washed repeatedly, popped a Senzu and then rinse repeat until they won. Plus Super Saiyan being a power multiplier too, never mind the gravity training Vegeta does and the training Goku does while on King Kai's planet (while blowing it the fukk up). All Krillin has is a Destructo Disc, a Kamehameha and Solar Flare. It's not even fair.
Makes you wonder how ready Gohan would've been to catch bodies had Chichi not forced that whole scholar business on him, assuming Gohan wouldn't be as much of a pacifist as he is currently. It wasn't until recently that Gohan wised up and knew he had to stay sharp, cause he can't always rely on Goku and Vegeta forever, and he showed out in Super.
Gohan wouldnt have changed much, i think they said half bloods are less as inclined. Honestly the biggest change that affected him was Chi chi accepting Gokus death. She trained goten and let him train with gohan.

True, but while I don't think he'd be some super gully Saiyan on some Vegeta Saiyan Saga shyt, I do think that'd be more willing to fight to protect had Chichi been more understanding of what's going on. Chichi wised up because she realized that Goku is the one saving shyt, and if he's gone, who else is going to protect the Earth? That's why later on, she's willing to let Goku train once he does some yard work or other errands.
But on the other side, see Chichi in a way isn't wrong for not wanting her baby boy to be out here fighting super-muscled and dangerous ass aliens. We obviously feel differently because we know what's at stake, but I get why she's like that. Had it been any of us, hell no would any of our moms be cool with it, they'd want to keep our ass in school.

the problem is she doesnt keep that same energy for goten. she was still breating gohan in high school, but goten hasnt looked in the direction of a book. hell hes fukking around doing dumbshyt with trunks, while gohan couldnt think of being on turtle island without doing a 1500 word essay for a tale of two cities when he was the same age
