How is it a scam if you know what you're getting into?
History (education field). I know, not any money in education. My situation is just an example of a much larger problem in this country...which is what I hoped to get opinions on.
I personally dont believe in the higher education system, save a few professions, like healthcare, engineering and maybe criminal justice.
I do however believe alot of employers want to hire people with degrees, even if its not related to the job.
I take it you didn't major in Engineering or Physics they're practicing giving those degrees away with money
You say this like most people are built for it.
Bingo.
Many vital items (transportation, housing) is so overpriced it's ridiculous. It's just another way to keep the wheels of "status" rolling.
