The Series S is far from a failure. It is selling like hotcakes for an Xbox in Japan and the game plays Forza/Halo good enough for a 300 dollar box.

Likely will be some deals during black Friday.

I have an X but I bought an S for my peoples. Used it for a few days before giving it to him so I could test it out and honestly I couldn't tell much of a difference in how games looked. Minor differences but not anything that took away from the overall experience.

It’s a good system. Just doesn’t do 4K. Which I feel is overrated. 1080p at 60 frames is solid for $300

No the S is not just on par with current gen consoles at all. It’s not just 4k, like GoTG they had to completely cut out 60fps mode 2 days AFTER the game released. Its weak af

ya read info a few weeks to a month ago that stated it is flat out outselling the XSX which was a huge surprise to me…they’re far easier to find in stock and sell out fast but only temporarily so I guess it makes sense…it seems like folks are settling for it since it’s easier to find than the XSX…sales will definitely continue to rise this month and next bcuz I’ve seen folks panicking on other forums about not being able to play halo since they can’t get their hands on an XSX

The S runs at 1080-/30, the x and ps5 run at 1080/60 for performance mode, theres no quality/performance mode on the s

And theres other graphical scaling involved also
