Is the Xbox Series S already a failure?

But for just $100 you can get a more powerful version with more storage that still gives you the choice to use a disc if you want

And is more powerful :ld:

I think maybe people were thinking “well if i cant get an series x or ps5 i will just buy this toy system until i can find one the others”

The Series X was always a complete waste of time. It's only for Xbox stans:yeshrug:. Though it being smaller may be useful if you want to travel with your console since it's smaller and lighter. It was always a marketing ploy by Microsoft so the stans could say, "See, Microsoft cares. They put out a cheaper option for the people." We all know how far goodwill among fan bases goes. I mean just look at CDPR:troll:
:gucci:.
Where is Kwame Brown to ask this nikka what the fukk he's talking about.

A quick check shows it's sold out on Xbox.com Gamestop, Target, Amazon, and Best Buy but available on Walmart. Does that qualify as readily available now?

I’ve heard of it being widely available in other countries also.

The fact that its not hard to buy in Microsoft’s biggest market, when next gen consoles are damn near unicorns right now kind of says it all

Walmart is actively restocking all of the consoles right now
Judging from the fact that it's sold out at most retailers online in the US this seems to be the case. I personally feel like the Series S was a bad idea but it being a failure when it's gone at all these major retailers is laughable. That being said it isn't like the digital PS5 where if you want the physical but can only land the digital you might still buy. If you want a Series X then a Series S isn't gonna cut it.

i enjoy my series s

i travel a lot for work, its real convenient (and less expensive, i could keep it in my carryon as opposed to checked luggage) to have a smaller machine i could bring with me for the times when i have some leisure as opposed to a bigass p5, i keep that at the crib

i cant imagine being satisfied if it was the only way i had to play but it serves its purpose for me
