Is the tech industry ANTI-BLACK by nature?

When I was in school, I met this kid who was wild talented but very lazy (he already knew the stuff the professor was teaching so he was bored). He put me onto open source software and it changed my life.

I encourage anyone who is SERIOUS about learning this stuff to take a look at open source software. It is often FREE (and in more then 1 way). My school was nothing but Java and .NET. I haven't used Java or .NET since. Everything Ive done the last ten years has been with OSS tools (from the OS to the web browser to the text editor to the language).

If any of you have ever messed with Audactiy, this is an example of a successful OSS project.

Many of the classic texts are freely available online from the original author. Many projects out there have excellent documentation. Do not wait or expect a school to teach you this. The only thing I learned in school was HOW TO LEARN. After school I learned how to ask smart questions. Then I learned what RTFM meant.

I didn't know this existed until someone showed me. So here I am trying to show anyone on thecoli.com who is interested...

What do you use Kali for? The only people I know who fukk with it are pen testers back when it was called backtrack.

I need to start using it again. I was fukking with it heavy in 2010 when I was studying for the OSCP exam.

I need to start using it again. I was fukking with it heavy in 2010 when I was studying for the OSCP exam.

Nothing major at all..... I was on some other shyt about a year or year and a half ago and I came across this Linux tutorial..... I was fascinated by it..... Dual boot Linux with Windows...... Said to Windows and bought another computer specifically for Linux and have been learning how to use the different apps on here each day..... I'm still a novice though ....... Some sniffing and cracking though ..... Nothing major........

At the end of it, creating (or at least trying) our own shyt is the only way. Now, that process of creation requires not only a changing in mindset (value system) but also a decent financial investment.

But I'm convinced a lot of cats just want to belong so bad that they will take whatever these big tech companies throw as scraps. A few token hires here and there ain't shyt When you have mark fukkin zuckerberg twisting his own employees arms and telling them to chill with the racism.

Mad kids are interested in learning but they don't have the resources available to them that other schools (cough cough...white/rich/public/suburban) schools have and due to that, we have so many black kids that would be into that but just don't get into it.

The same kids have access to thousand dollar smartphones but use them to look at worldstar videos and vine comps all day. Sorry, but this excuse doesn't cut it in this era. It's not just black kids, but unfortunately they suffer the most from mass induced misguidance.

Most kids who get into computers and the tech field start in their youth, generally through parents. How many Black people do you have parents that did during the 70s, 80s, and 90s? I know one, and her mother was a Doctor who also worked with NASA.

I've been working on computers since the Tandy 4000 days (a texas instruments brand)
I've worked on the first apple desktop computers from going to a private catholic school
My family always made sure our siblings had computers.
My parents had Compaq desktops in the 90s
I learned how to use paint (made skateboard designs and comics on that program with just a keyboard...before the mouse days)
And learned how to use sound recorder to make music. When I was 13 in 1997.

Then when I went to college I had desktop and laptops...so basically what I'm saying is I grew up with computers in my life even though in the 90s that wasn't as common as it is now. Your generation is different...you grew up with technology in your lives.

for most black and white people and americans in general in the 80s and 90s technology wasn't as accesible as it is now.

And the coli answer to everything is just start your own business...make your own app. Its that easy huh? Guess what probably 95% of the population no matter what race doesnt have what it takes to run a succesful business especially from the ground up. In fact its a great way to end up way deeper in the hole than where you started. At the end of the day tha vast majority are soldiers not generals...so to act like this isnt an issue worth discussing because you can just "do your own thing" is stupid as hell.

Have you used Metasploit yet? It's installed on Kali and is a pretty popular network exploit framework. It makes exploiting systems running vulnerable code a lot easier.



If you want, setup a VM with an unpatched version of Windows and use Metasploit to try to break in it. You'd be surprised how many ways their are to do privilege escalation or remote code execution on these OS's

Also if you know how to pen test you can eat very well. A few years of pen testing will have you at 150-200k/yr easy
