Me saying they are being left behind is in response to OP’s point that the media is pretty much doing away with black hetero males. We all see it.

Im not the only one. I thought I was crazy after a while trying to express this.

No, black men have to enhance our economic standing. Everything else is secondary.

Enhancing social clout is nothing more than asking for a seat at the table.

Economic clout is building your own table.

I don't put that responsibility on the woman however, that's the man's job

Wealth and ownership is key

Men are here to be producers. Not consumers.

Black Men are producers...but we dont own anything of value collectively or control anything like institutions and corporations.

Thats where power comes from...consolidating wealth and resources and ownership.

Men are supposed to provide produce and protect. Historically weve had many roadblocka to accruing Wealth that other communities of men have not faced.

Once we understand thats where power comes from...the rest will fall in line.

Good point. A lot of black men act as isolated entities.

How do you build strong bonds with other men and worry that they could reveal stuff about you if you fall out.

I've fallen out with a few folks but out of decency I couldn't and wouldn't reveal hurtful things.

This also ties into black men and mental health. I've talked a few times on here of the amount of black men I know who had mental breakdowns. Even more worrying when you look at younger black men just deciding to skip all that and just kill themselves.

Thats why I always try to make an effort to promote Black mental health with everything we face. A healthy mind promotes a healthy outlook on life.

Society doesn't respect a man with his hands out. Never will. The faster black men realize this, the better. Look at history and tell me what you see. Women and babies getting rescued and support, men are expected to stay and fight.

1. look at the nasty way a lot of you are speaking about black women, more black people than ever are healing their generational trauma and making healthy boundaries. disrespect isn't going to be tolerated from anyone skinfolk or not.
