i haven't seen the second season of euphoria so i don't recall all the actors in it.

what about the breh in Marvels Cloak and Dagger?

The Best Black Actors Under 25 In 2022

They completely got rid of the black kid from the first season and have the hot blonde girl he was dating, now fukking and in love with the Nate character.

Take that as you will

You gotta understand the sisterhood is just so much stronger. The community is matriarchy. Plenty of BM are receptive, but some brehs in higher places love being the token and some sistas thrive off rejecting brehs and being guard dogs for cac corporate heads.

Who’s instilling confidence in them? Who’s really looking out for them? How many family members are really uplifting the boys as well as the girls? Are aunts, cousins, moms really uplifting? Or just saying “Do better” The whole community needs to care about BM, not just when there’s an incident with a cop, but every single day.

They don't want to understand this breh. No group has its men just 'pull themselves up etc.' All strong groups have the whole community get behind raising their men and making sure they are strong for community's sake. This 'Black men need to save themselves, Black women are rocking' shyt is ignoring the fact that the same forces that 'help' BW will scorn BM. I have seen it all the time. BW aren't necessarily more receptive to help, they get offered more help since they are seen as less threatening.

People really want to argue that there aren't enough BM to take advantage of programs, scholarships, etc. People also want to ignore how White men and men in Europe are seeing their educational attainment crash versus their own women. But society will put a safety net out for WM having harder times. We don't get shyt.

How does this relate to this thread? There are also lots of Black male activists and pro-Black Black men with non-Black partners.

Thread is about some black women straying from black men and that tweet is about the same thing… And those black male activists can’t walk into the White House or the Supreme Court (which is most likely what the white dude is talking about) as easily as their female counterparts.

I’m confused. Bw ir marriage rate isn’t even that high… here’s a dose of reality: 12%.

his complaints are strange when you look at things in context. Asians and Hispanic women have a much higher IR rate than black women. Interestingly enough whites have the lowest IR rate.

That tweet’s about black female activists like blm, dems, etc. Not black women in general. And if black women were getting proposed to like other women they’d date out just as much, if not more than anyone else. Black women went to court to make interracial marriage legal and are the main people making books, movies, and careers about it. Now If that’s what a lot of them want then whatever but let’s just tell it how it is

:patrice: I'm gonna disagree with this post. Not with its content, but its perspective. The question here is, "Is SOCIETY promoting bw and leaving bm behind?" You responded to a different question.

:jbhmm: Im still curious to know if you agree that SOCIETY is giving us a bit of a boost rn. Bc it's super obvious. My mother was in store at Macy's recently and the cashier, a fellow older bw, gave her the little spiel about the charities she could donate her change to. The only black one was explicitly for black girls. Moms, aqua down to her bones :lolbron:, asked why there were no bm focused charities. The cashier got offended, ppl were staring, it became a thing.

If that's not a societal, institutional boost, I dont know what is. :yeshrug:

Your mom sounds embarrassing. Imagine making a scene over that lmao

Why do ya'll give media entertainment so much prominence and value in your life?

It's disturbing how media entertainment is a guide or oracle for so many people.
media may not be of prominence and value in your life, but it is how the VAST majority of people formulate ideas/opinion consciously and subconsciously.:manny:

It's known that you can get better social media reach and get your product/ad amplified if you get black women on your side. It's seen in the data, that simple. Black women tend to rally and :dj2: shyt that appeals/panders to them. They also low key run social media, at least Twitter, from a popular narrative standpoint. Black men not so much.

"The media's the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent, and that's power. Because they control the minds of the masses."

Brodi sleep if he doesn't comprehend the power and influence of the media. It's literally used to psychologically program the masses at large.

There is never space alongside :mjlol:

One ideology or group will always dominate, unfortunately in our community that will be women and whatever bullshyt they're pushing:francis:

Kinda agree with the rest though, we do have to also look at our past behaviour towards our women:yeshrug:
I feel you. Hopefully there will be those who’ll figure it out.
