I went there in 2006 and it was cool. Hardly saw any black folks tho. It was hot af and everything is way spread out. You had to travel just to do anything it seemed like. The scenery was dope tho. It was nice to visit but I couldn’t live there

A quick look on zillow and im seeing a bunch of 1 beds for like 2 honey-buns is that too be expected? , Im not worried about finding a job, I have experience and a degree along with nice references. Any brehs out there? Whats it like?

Used to be the spot to move to for a better quality of life but now that the rent skyrocketed, and a million moved there and climate change is becoming more and more consequential if I lived there now I’d be planning an escape.


Pay $1500 for an apartment in the burbs, not centrally located. Can take 2 hours to drive from east to west in traffic and it gets so hot they have to shut down the airport.
