Used to be the spot to move to for a better quality of life but now that the rent skyrocketed, and a million moved there and climate change is becoming more and more consequential if I lived there now I’d be planning an escape.

Pay $1500 for an apartment in the burbs, not centrally located. Can take 2 hours to drive from east to west in traffic and it gets so hot they have to shut down the airport.

I had a one bedroom for $400 a month in Tempe in 2010

World done changed

I had a FWB who was from Chandler. :noah: had some fun times up there. Practically no humidity so summers are tolerable, just feels like a hot blow dryer if it's windy.

I lived in Tucson, summers were easy to me :manny:
Chandler where all the athletes and rich folk stay

Bump.

Been playing with the idea of moving out here. Really want to move to California, but could do Phoenix as a back up since LA and SD are only 5 hours away. Know a few people in Arizona and they love it :jbhmm:
