She not only alluded to finding my 1 going on 2 year old son, "fine" and dropped lines like, "He's a light skinned you " but she flat out said, if I come across him when he's 18, I'ma get him. Now, It's one thing to be basic and compliment a child's features (adorable, handsome, pretty, ect) but its another to say something like that. Most will downplay it and brush it off as harmless banter...It's different for me now. I had to tell her, if you come at my kid, he gon G yo soon to be OLD @ss and you already know we take no prisoners so get your pocketbook ready! She chuckled it off but still kept talkin about he's, "Her boyfriend" and making other innuendo's regarding his potential prowess and her plans for him.

I told her, thank you for letting me know you're ok with talking like that about children. Ain't a joke clever enough for me to be cool with what you're talking about. It's all good til YOUR son gets felt up after school by a janitor or a counselor...Look forward to it. It makes sense as to why you down with blowing me in a park and you're 30 years old...Don't EVER hit this line again you future pedo hoe! That's my fault for even entertaining her...Regardless of her social status...She's a well dressed, socially established, dusty muskrat at the end of the day.

To the point, yeah, pedo behavior is unspoken but WELL known among black folks...

I'm late to conversation but judging by some of the comments I must have lived a sheltered life. Because my first knowledge of pedophilia came with that R. Kelly shyt and pretty much all black people I knew looked down on that. I've never considered pedo behavior common in our community. But I don't know everything.

Where did you grow up? Urban? Suburbs?

It's a lot more well hidden in the suburbs than it is the hood, shoot it's to the point where 15-16yr olds having kids by 20 +yr old dudes doesn't make most people blink a eye

You know good and damn well they are calling 19 year olds dating 15-16 year old pedofiles also and to me that quite frankly isn't pedofilia...And a lot of the teenage girls that get pregnant it isn't by a dude the same age it's by a guy whose a few years older...

I know most of the hood cats know this scene far to perfect when you leave high school you always see the escalades, Lexus, box Chevys out and about to pick up the prettiest chicks these aren't your classmates usually these are older dudes from there hoods....Practically every girl has had at least one older dude while they were in school we used to call em chesters but to be honest that can be considered pedofilia because what does a 19-21 year old dude need with a 16 year old girl.

Hood dudes and dope boys are above the law. No one criticizes them because they get money and money is God to these people.

I might be wrong for this, but most gay men I ever heard openly talk about being gay usually had some type of sexual abuse in their childhood. My question is how can they say they were born gay when the sexual abuse directly affected them?

Repression, it's there way of justifying there lifestyle choices in there minds

I met a boy 15, who was caught raping other boys, 3 to be exact, when confronted about his sexuality he denied being gay because although all his sexual experiences had been with males he still only dated girls

See I heard stories like those. I know that's a totally different subject because child abuse is wrong on all levels. I just don't understand how one says they were born gay but try to skip over the traumatic effects of sexual abuse had on them.

I once met a girl in the hood who had 5 female cousins that were all sleeping with each other up to the age of 16. I'm from philly btw.

Its is true. 20 something year old men dating my 13 year old friends in middle school was the norm. I remember having a friend in middle school that was dating a 20 year old, they were having sex too. She was so young she asked me in class one day " why is it that when we are having sex, his dikk is dry when it goes in but when he pulls out it's wet?". She was so young she didn't even know she gets wet. fukking gross. In high school a lot of girls were with men in there 20's. Men in there 20's would frequently hit on me even though I had my uniform on. Grown men preying on young girls is definitely tolerated in the black community.

Molestation is a problem that affects all races but I wouldn't define it as a problem that impacts blacks more (like drugs or gangs are).

The only race-related factor I see is the molestation that occurs due to lack of parent involvement. When you got girls growing up in single parent families in the hood and there is a lack of supervision, they are at a higher risk.

I'm a little less sensitive about the teenage girls f**king grown dudes. Yes the guys are in the wrong, but a lot of those girls are chasing older men (many that don't have morals) over guys their age. I'm not going to be sympathetic towards the woman that feels guilty about f**ing a grown ass dope boy 10 years later. Chicks want to be fast growing up, but years later they want to say they were victims.

You are right. That is what I meant earlier by people speaking from a myopic perspective. I remember being in the 8th grade and I had a friend who was 15 at the time. She was seeing an older guy who was 24. She would print out fake field trip forms online, or use the ones the teachers gave out then tell her mom that she was going on a field trip. He would buy her clothes, pay for her to get her hair and nails done, Pay her cellphone bill and etc. She had a tattoo on her lower back that said fantasy or something along those line. I know if I would have came home at 13 with a new hair style and new clothes with no job my parents would question everything and call everyone in my cellphone.

Any man willing to sleep with a teenager is pretty much sick and disgusting. It does happen in our community, but people stay quite about it. Like I mentioned earlier there are children molesting children, women molesting young boys/girls, men molesting young boys/girls.

When i was in high school a few of the football coaches were having sex with the students. One of them would tell the boys on the team which girls were easy and to get with them. I remember him substituting for my Human Geography class and talking to a few of the guys in the class about which girls were easy. Additionally, a lot of girls at my high school were growing up too fast, Some started stripping at 18 because they would watch ratchet shows, and see stuff on Instagram thinking they could be the next Amber Rose.

But they said that ratchet TV DOESN'T influence young girls behaviors

But the concept of a grown ass man in a high school is disgusting.
