i saw this same shyt, it was so bad that our freshman year, us dudes would talk about how we couldnt compete with the dope boys with cars who use to fukk em all.

Yeah, abuse in the family is one thing. A lot of shyt gets swept under the rug. That needs to be exposed.
But, to try to paint young 12-13 year old girls as innocent when they are jumping into cars and relationships with 20+ year old nikkas is erroneous. Those little chicks know what they're doing. Their damn parents, siblings and friends know they're hanging around a 20+ year old nikka. But, everyone turns a blind eye.

Yes. If I'm a kid and my parents tell me not to talk or hop in a car with adult strangers and my dumb ass ends up doing it anyway, whatever happens to me is partly my fault.
Kids are incredibly informed in 2015. They know what's up. Some of these young chicks are all on tumblr talking about being sugar babies and other shyt.
They need to be checked by their parents and older Black women--point blank.
Just as Black men need to check the behavior of other Black men and Black boys.
Accountability is the operative word here. Accountability is terribly lacking in the Black community. All we know how to do well is shift blame. It has to stop.

Parents teach your children to not trust anybody, even family, outside of mom/dad and sibling's. Even then teach them to tell you everything. Working as social worker for a few years now the children sexual abuse ones are always the worst.
I've told this story in piece's on here before but I'll tell it full this time:
When I was like 17 I met a girl who was 16, very pretty quiet most reserved we get to talkin and a few months in she accidentally tells me that she has a daughter, I ask her how old, she says 6, I say o she's a newborn, she says no 6 year's old. She got pregnant at 9 had the baby at 10.
How did this happen?
Mom left her to be raised by her aunt when she was 5, aunt pimps her out for drug money. This last until she is about 8 at which time aunt is "stable" and no longer wants' to take care of her no more so she"gives" her away to one of the guys she pimps her to.
At this point I asked the obvious
Why didn't you tell anyone? - I was scared and threatened
How were you being registered in school, being seen by docs etc? - the aunt gave the guy her social security card, birth certificate etc and would sign any release papers
So she's 8 and is now basically a child sex slave, she justified it to me by saying the guy ,who was in his 40s , never hit her and took good care of her.
Fast forward one year later and she is now 9yrs old and pregnant, a year later she gave birth,at home.
This relationship continues until she is 11 , the guy at this point tells her that they are moving to Texas but she will be going first, alone to stay with friends of his. These friends turn out to be a child sex ring, who abuse her for two more years.
At 13 she decides to runaway but being that age she only knew one way to survive, so she prostitute's herself. Along the way she meets a girl,older than her who wants to get out of the life and convinced her to move to NY at 14
They get to NY get under the table (cash) paying jobs and things seemed better until the other girl says that they are going to get guy roommates,3 (white) guys, the friend ended up pimping her to these guy's, who take turns raping her throughout the day /week
At this point she decided to tell a H.S teacher, who promptly dismissed her and told her she was pretty and may have flirted with the guys.
This is where I meet her and after learning all this I tried to help, offered to call the cops etc but she said she couldn't, given her life story no one would believe her and the father of her child threatened to make the child disappear or "grow up like her" if she exposed him or his friends.
I continued talkin to her for a few more months, but it was too much.

To say that it's prevalent would be saying that it happens a lot which in reality, we don't know how much of it happens. I do agree that this shyt does seem to have a racist agenda behind it where it seems to imply something about how being black is the reason behind such or that it's likely or black men are hypersexual to the point where they are likely to be perverted.
It would have been better to say why isn't pedophila, child sexual abuse and etc awareness isnt discussed or talked about within the black community? It's not basically implying or jumping to an assumption about how much is going on.

I'm late to conversation but judging by some of the comments I must have lived a sheltered life. Because my first knowledge of pedophilia came with that R. Kelly shyt and pretty much all black people I knew looked down on that. I've never considered pedo behavior common in our community. But I don't know everything.
