Is Paolo Banchero good enough to dig the Magic out the grave?

They got some hellified pieces around him, in time he should have them fighting for a top seed out East if they keep the band intact.

Speaking of which, wassup with Johnathan Issac? Was he hurt last year or was it the vaccine shyt? Low-key one of my favorite players, and a future DPOY imo
He suffered a case of c00ness fukk this bytch ass tap dancing c*nt :pacspit:

Even he digs them out of the grave they gotta keep him for the long haul. How exactly do they do that? Even with Dwight and Shaq a finals appearance wasn't enough. Guess they gotta win the whole thing :yeshrug:

Dude hasn't even stepped on the court yet and people are already trying to speak of him going elsewhere. shyt is mad corny.

Only hall of famers can temporarily pull you out of graves. There is no long term solution you can count on

He can pass, he can put pressure on the rim, and he has a semblance of shooting

16/7/2 rookie year should be his start as he strives to become Detroit Piston’s Blake Griffin

We haven't had someone that can score with the ball in their hands at will. Banchero can.

PG: Cole Anthony - Markelle Fultz
SG: Jalen Suggs - RJ Hampton
SF: Franz Wagner - MAGA Isaac
PF: Paolo Banchero - Chuma Okeke
C: Wendell Carter Jr. - Robin Lopez (If we don't bring Mo Bamba back)

Flip Terrence Ross for extra cap space.

Team salary is $84,821,918 for the 22-23 season. The caps set at $122m and the luxury doesn't kick in till $149m.

I know it wont happen, but man.. if we can bring in a Zach Lavine. Throw his ass the max. That would put Suggs at the point with Levine at the 2. Cole can back up Suggs. We could move on from Fultz.

Why you still a hoe after all these years? What bytch fukked you, broke your heart, and moved to Orlando?

I see him basically becoming what the Magic hoped Aaron Gordon would've been - a multi-tool point-forward, who's a jack of all trades (and a master of none). Which is why I'm surprised at all this talk of how high his ceiling is, because I don't see it. He doesn't have the athleticism and/or natural shooting touch to really be at that superstar level.

It's funny because, watching his tape more in-depth, I couldn't help but get Julius Randle vibes from his play, except in this case, Banchero is actually the version of how Julius thinks he plays. Banchero is to Julius is as LaMelo is to MCW (I remember this comparison popping up often at the time) - the Basketball Gods fukked it up on the first try, but got it right on the second.

What’s the support like for the Magic down there on a scale of 1-10?

OKC & Portland also have the NBA as their sole professional team and they have great fans.

I think dude is going to be a good player offensively in a vacuum because he got skills but it's going to ultimately depend on teammates, scheme, etc. and some questions dude got to answer defensively that's going to determine if the Magic are legit.

==Offensively==
Big question is if "Banchero Ball" is going to be enough in a series to beat teams like the Warriors or other teams looking to move the ball.

Warriors absolutely annihilated teams that tried that heliocentric shyt this year. These heliocentric schemes always get exposed come play-off time.

Magic are going to need to put shooters on that team and their current players, along with Banchero, are going to need to learn to play off-ball if they want real success.

==Defensively==
Defensively, what needs to be proven is if the guy is not a frontcourt tweener: basically someone too small or non-athletic to protect the rim and somebody too slow-footed to defend the perimeter.

Those frontcourt tweeners are the worst NBA defenders because even if you pair them with a rim protector or a big who can defend the perimeter, teams will still attack the weak part of that combo. Unfortunately, you can't hide frontcourt tweeners on defense.

What makes Giannis special defensively is he can do both, something I feel like Jabari Smith can do as well. I think Magic with Suggs and Jabari could have been like the Bucks with Jrue and Giannis defensively.

All that said, I think for the most part the top 3 teams did really well for themselves. Banchero is a great pick for the Magic at the end of the day, but not somebody who can straight up carry them if his defense can get exposed (none of these picks this year can carry solo tbh).

Take your frustration out on me breh. I understand. Living in Orlando is already a bottom 5 experience but being a Magic fan is living on the edge and by edge I mean the edge of 500 ft cliff. Bruh been losing for 10+ years and what do they have to show for it? I feel sorry for Paolo.
