I'm the wrong one breh. I've listened to every Nicki album except Pinkprint. Pink Friday is her best album and the closest to a great album as she's gotten unless Pinkprint is better. Roman's Revenge was weak and that's the one with whole a bunch of Pop fluff on it. Queen is as bloated, but it's her second best unless Pinkprint is better. If I had to make best of Nicki, it would be these:

Roman's Revenge

Pink print is her best album to me .

1. Popular new sound with zero new twist on it.
2. Whoever is "hot" when they come out.

There are good female rappers in the underground, but they get little to no burn in these conversations unless a nikka like me rolls up.

I definitely don't see the more female rappers than ever. There may be more female rapper personalities, or whatever you call the Love & hip-Hop chicks, but definitely not more. Every crew once at least had 1 female rapper in the camp, and then the underground circuit with the Apani, Jean Grae, MC Trouble, Bahamadia, Jane Doe etc...and I think there were waaaay more in the early 2000s.

There are more rappers in general now than there ever was due to the fact that anyone can be a rapper in the age of social media.

In regard to female rappers, there were more female rappers that were actually impacting in the 90's- early '00's. All the ladies below were going platinum or better:
