His father is a former NBA player, his game is actually really polished, that is why he is so highly regarded. He has the athleticism you look for in a star wing player, but also the skills. He might reclassify to join the 2013 class with Parker, most of the talk is that he wants to get to the league as soon as possible and will forgo another year @ prep school.
Fam, Wiggins destroyed Julius Randle, the number 2 senior in the country, he outplayed most of our 2012 Seniors @ the Nike World Hoops summit as a sophomore. The kid is far and away better than Parker.
Sounds good, nothing wrong with that.. but on the flip side out here we think of Pauly Pavilion(UCLA), The Great Western Forum, Staples Center, and Venice BeachThe problem with a lot of the people in this thread (and in particular, the threadstarter) is that they don't know the definition of the word 'Mecca'.
According to Google, the definition is: "A place that attracts people of a particular group or with a particular interest."
I don't know if New York is the Mecca of Basketball. I don't care. But that's the definition.
When I think about 'places' that 'attract people' to basketball, the first places that come to mind are Madison Square Garden and Rucker Park.
but that's just me. Maybe I'm wrong.
Iiight I'll keep my eye for this kid. Can't say the bolded yet that's pre mature. The chicago public league is one of the best leagues in prep sports
Playing in that league is how Kevin Garnett went from a highly rated high school prospect to a Nba top 5 pick

Which is the bigger street court destination, Venice Beach or Rucker Park? Is that even a competition?Sounds good, nothing wrong with that.. but on the flip side out here we think of Pauly Pavilion(UCLA), The Great Western Forum, Staples Center, and Venice Beach
It's not premature, scouts have been saying he's better than Parker for a while now.

That SI article was premature if anything, all you really need to do is think of what position Parker will play in the NBA, and compare him athletically to them.
Simeon Career Academy forward Jabari Parker, the nation's No. 1-ranked senior, will have Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski, Michigan State coach Tom Izzo and North Carolina coach Roy Williams in for home visits this week, and Stanford coach Johnny Dawkins will visit next week before Parker cuts his list to five schools and sets up official visits, Parker's father said on Monday.
Parker released a list of 10 schools in July, and it consisted of BYU, DePaul, Duke, Florida, Georgetown, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan State, North Carolina and Stanford. BYU, DePaul, Florida and Kansas have already made in-home visits.
Congrats on the achievement from 17 years ago.
2 scouts said he's better,1 said he only saw parker play once at the camp. When I read articles like this about this cat then I'll believe you

I don't have a team , and every thread you make relates to NY in someway.
Black folks are moving out of NY in droves, so you're not going to see as many ball players coming out of the city as they once did.
