Again the Knicks haven't won shyt. Syracuse is the last college team in the state to win at basketball 8 years ago. Who cares about basketball in NY other than New Yorkers? Nobody is looking towards NY for the next big hoop star, nobody is breaking their necks to attend NY universities for basketball purposes, scouts aren't scrambling to NY to see random fresh HS talent. Nobody outside of NY cares about NY basketball.

WHo are these major talents from NY dominating the league? Artest, Telfair, Marbury, Johnny Flynn, LAMAR? NY home of the solid role player.
