I don't believe NY is the mecca for Basketball. I believe its just NY folks hyping up their city like they do everyday. Let's be real if NY was a mecca why haven't the Knicks won in 40 years? Why are teams like UNC Duke Kentucky always favorites to win in NCAA? Now I will say NY does produce some good ball handlers but that's it. Yeah Rucker Park is legendary but so what? Like a dude posted before, whose come out of Rucker and made it to the league since Raefer Alston? I ain't hating but if we talking basketball meccas u gotta include NC in the discussion UNC and Duke are responsible for some legendary players in the league.
