I feel like Mike Evans is one of the most underrated elite players of all time. He is one of smoothest wide receivers who ever played like he runs like a gazelle he almost tip toes on his cuts. He has been productive at a high level his whole career I believe he is the only player with 1000 yard seasons 10 years or more. But yea but he is a 1st ballot HOF. The other thing is he remained productive despite having 5 different QBs of varying quality throwing him the ball.

Agreed.

He should be in already. He was elite and has more 1,300 yard seasons than Evans.

Most posters in this thread are apparently enamored with compoling 1,000 yard seasons, a completely subjective milestone.
How is starting your career with 10 1K seasons subjective? :mjlol:

Considering he's not finished and is still producing at a high level I think he gets in eventually. They rewarded Art Monk for years of consistency when looking at his overall numbers are they better then Evans or what they will be when he finishes up playing? Call it what you want but the FIRST to go over a 1000 a decade straight will hold some weight too.

Rice has 11 straight, but he didn't start his career with it. 927 yards as a rookie.

Monk played 16 years and never had double digit TD’s in a season and he only had 1000 yards 5 times.

Exactly. Steve Smith and Andre Johnson have been waiting. Cris Carter, Michael Irvin, TO etc had to wait for years to get selected in.

Julio averages 8 more yards per game career vs Mike. Mike has 27 more TDs in 12 less games. And Mike is still producing at a high level.
