In 3 of the seasons you listed he had 12, 13, and 14 receiving TDs. The one with 12 he was a rookie

Not to mention he played with mostly filth outside the Brady years, and when he had Brady he had to play in an equal opportunity offense that favored the slot (Godwin) & TE’s that took away receptions.

2nd team All Pro, x4 Pro Bowl, and currently tied him in TDs

Considering he's not finished and is still producing at a high level I think he gets in eventually. They rewarded Art Monk for years of consistency when looking at his overall numbers are they better then Evans or what they will be when he finishes up playing? Call it what you want but the FIRST to go over a 1000 a decade straight will hold some weight too.

So hes more than worthy if considerstion. Now, is he necessarily an All-Timer at his position? I say no, and some people feel Canton should be reserved for people who are clearly positional All-Timers...

He's somewhere in between. He certainly isn't first ballot, but I wouldn't be upset if he got in...
