Evans is a HOFer. That's not even a debate.

The question is whether he'll be 1st ballot HOF. Hard to know because it'll depend on when he retires and which of his peers are eligible when Mike is finally eligible.

He reminds me of Curtis Martin but with a SB ring. Quiet, professional, widely respected yet always underrated. I could see him getting voted in 1st ballot unless there's a logjam. He doesn't have the character flaws of an Irvin or T.O....no scandals. Mostly played with "meh" QBs and put up numbers regardless.
Curtis Martin the perfect comparison

I'm sure I've said it befor ein this thread, but he's a lock for the HOF.

Only question now is if he's first-ballot or not. He's got a ring, has a strong argument as the GOAT of a NFL franchise, he has numbers regardless of level of QB play and is on pace to do something at the WR position that not even Jerry Rice could do.

Not 1 all pro season. 👎🏿
Can you imagine the kind of numbers guys like TO and Moss would produce in 17 games? :heh:
Has Evans ever been targeted the way those guys are besides at the goal line? Brady came to town and brought AB and Gronk with him and favored throwing to Godwin.
