But it is a H2H in terms of how you play relative to the other quarterback. Obviously they aren't "defending" each other, but they are directly opposing each other and you can make that determination by watching guys on the same field...
When we talk about Mahomes being the best quarterback of his generation, first because he's been the most consistent playoff performer of his era with the physical tools + the championships...
We don't call him the best because he's the most physically lifted QB or because he hasn't been matched. As a matter of fact several current guys have matched or outplayed him in games:
Allen
Burrow
Goff
Hurts
We know those guys can't defend Mahomes, and Mahomes can't defend them, but you can watch these guys in the same game and say who is playing better. It doesn't really matter what the defense is because great quarterbacks can overcome great defenses unless it's the 2013 LOB or equivalent on the other side...
So yes, H2H matters if one QB was visibly worse than the other!

Yes, I would take all three of those over Burrow without a second thought.
All three are more mobile than Burrow and can make plays that he can't. Burrow also takes the worst sacks out of all of them. Lamar takes some poor sacks as well, but can manage to get out of many of them because of his mobility.
It's not a knock on Burrow, but those three can flat out make plays that Burrow can't. That's just a fact.
