Last year, I watched a lot of Jerry's pre-Seinfeld stand up, and I was actually shocked to find most of his material was not that funny, which is odd because Seinfeld is one of my favorite shows. I guess that Larry David stimulus really did wonders for him.

It wouldn't surprise me at all. As I'm watching the show, I notice his stand up shyt is the least funny parts of the show. That's what made me think of it.. Like how you not that funny as a comedian but get called a goat comedian for comedic acting

I’m still eating off Seinfeld. And Comedians in cars getting coffee is nicely done and I have Curb your Enthusiasm which is like a descendant of Seinfeld. We even got a new Seinfeld reboot redone skillfully in Curb it was incredible that left you wanting more. That’s what Jerry wanted he wanted to go out on his own terms

He's a comedian at his core, stand-up is what his passion is. He got a chance to make hundreds of millions on a sitcom, and then went back to doing what he really likes, shows in comedy clubs. With bags of money being tossed intermediately at him to do a movie voice or Netflix show here and there. Great for him

Stephenie Meyer, J. K. Rowling, and Suzanne Collins have pretty much done Jack shyt since Twilight, Harry Potter, and Hunger Games came out. Sometimes a person reaches a level of success that they just can fall back and chill the rest of their lives. Jerry is in that group.

He kinda right though. While Curb is an amazing show it doesnt have the reach that Seinfeld did. Curb doesnt have anything that has reached the public mindset like "the big salad", "soup nazi", "festivus", "hello Newman", "Yada Yada Yada" , "serenity now", "these pretzels are making me thirsty", etc... You might be able to say "pretty, pretty, good" for Curb but thats a stretch.
