if he’s not gonna shoot, then at least be good at the line
i blame the Ben and the coaches … like what are you practicing?

He shoots with the wrong hand. He also has a weird passive mentality where he doesn't look for his shot. Jalen breaks it down pretty well here(this video is 3 years old and he still has the same flaws):

ben-simmons-shot-chart.jpg

In 2019 one of my friends daughters played in this girls youth league and my wife signed us up as "admins" for it so we had to go to games and get food and equipment and organize some of the trips and shyt and the coaches have shot charts for these kids and all of the shot charts looked JUST LIKE THIS cause these little girls just aren't strong enough to even shoot a 3 point shot:mindblown:.

Ben Simmons has the basketball shot profile of 9 year old girls who aren't strong enough to shoot 3's :mindblown:.

My mind is legit BLOWN right now :mindblown:

I've always said he should just have a "fukk it" game and just launch 20 of em from outside just so nobody begs him to shoot anymore.

I don't even think it's laziness or some unwillingness to work on it. He shoots with the wrong hand and he got a huge mental block. If Philly can't work around that anymore, that's fine, but I don't think they can exchange defense for more offense without turning into the Embiid version of the Trail Blazers.

How is that not an indication that the number 1 overall pick with a max contract is not a bust? :dahell: being great on defense but a liability to your team on offense, to the point it has hit a ceiling in the ECSF, sure sounds like someone that didn't meet the expectations of a n°1 pick.

Getting traded to the Rockets would have been the best thing for Simmons. No pressure on a lottery team. Getting his numbers with Christian Wood spacing the floor or rolling to the rim.

All of those years suffering during "The Process", Philly fans wanted a superstar with their number 1 pick. I just don't think Ben Simmons will ever reach that level.

4 #1 picks have won a title with the team that drafted them, and they needed another #1 overall pick alongside them to do it. If the expectations of a #1 pick are that high, then failure is almost guaranteed. If the title is the goal, getting the #1 pick is the kiss of death unless you have 2 of them.

I don’t care about him ever shooting jumpers but you can’t shoot 30 percent from the free throw line…

Like put the video games down and at least work on that. At what point can he help his teammates and adjust his game instead of them constantly having to adjust their games to accommodate him?
