Kendrick do suck on features

But yall sound dumb saying only white ppl listen to him

Basically saying Black people cant like variety
Black people listen to him but Kendrick name shouldn’t be brought up in this type of thread. His music is not moving the culture in a particular way and he’s not an artist people play out and about

this is what happens when you have zero connection to the youth, don't go to clubs, don't fukk with young chicks, and don't know what's going on.

Nobody cares about Detroit rap. A lot of cities are popping on varying levels but the pulse of rap remains in Atlanta.
Why do y’all keeping mentioning the club I clearly said streets

And if the pulse is still in Atlanta then who are the upcoming Atlanta rappers that’s making noise?

In a sense no. Atlanta artists may not be on top right now but every rapper that is on top borrows heavily from Atlanta (Roddy rich etc.)

Strip clubs in its originally sense are dead. They are still grounds for 'artist' showcase though. If your Song Takesover the Strip Club or goes Viral via social media memes or something you can blow. Look at Detroit, I 'd say Sada Baby and Payroll two of the best out regardless of region but them boys ARE NOT known like that outside of us who be on the internet like that and their regions. Sure you can make the argument an overwhelming amount of us are on the net now heavy, but even then I'm talking like non music casuals.
Sada is well known outside of the internet he’s right at the door to blow

Payroll got a fan base that’s pretty big too he popping out West and in the South maybe not so much with the young crowd but definitely people 25 and up that fukk with him

Carti
Nudy
Baby
Gunna
JID

And that's just up and coming.

Not to mention the production teams and other artists adjacent to hip-hop like Summer Walker and Lil Nas X. Add in the established acts and Atlanta's sound and influence still the largest of any city easily IMO.

this is different than just NY but I’ll take that - The Northeast

You might be right about the connection but the connection to Florida does not seem so strong to me.

Could be a whole lot stronger if you ask me.
Pop smoke and most of those other drill artists not moving any real units yet the biggest artist from nyc moving units still is aboogie and lil tjay

I don't see Brooklyn drill bubbling anywhere outside NYC outside 69 and MAYBE Foreign. Detroit? lol. Anyways... What about LA/Cali or heck even Texas?

Edit:

Florida who been cooking a lot these past few years.
Welcome to the Party, Dior, Gatti are some of the hottest records in the streets. Pop Smoke is buzzing hard and has slowly become one of the most talked about rappers on here lol. Pop is bigger than Fivio Foreign.

Drake was seen in Marcy today recording a video for what appears to be a collaboration with Fivio Foreign and Sosa Geek. Brooklyn drill is buzzing hard and it's reach goes out to drill hubs London and Chicago and other U.S. cities too go check the Spotify numbers.

That Detroit scam rap y'all sleeping on it I don't know if it will be mainstream but kids in the Midwest and rust belt cities are tuned in to that TeeJayx6, Sada Baby, BandGang.

Baby, Gunna, Carti not up and coming they established.

Keed, Gotit, Nudy was supposed to be up next. Keed and Gotit was too much like Thug clones but they still got a chance. Nudy dropped the ball with that Kid Cudi/Pissy Pamper record that was a bomb he couldn't get it cleared.

I don't see that Kendrick clone J.I.D. doing much. :ld:
