I’m working on losing right now, going to the Caribbean next year. Diet is key, stay away from the fast food and sweet snacks. Eat lean meat and a lot of veggies. I try to limit myself to one or two cheat meals a week, usually dinner on Friday and Saturday. Don’t overdo your cheat meal either, like eating a whole large pizza in one meal. Weight train at least two days a week, preferably three to four though, and do a 45 minute or longer cardio session at least four times a week.

That's easily achievable but the other brehs in this thread are failing to realise that you eat like shyt already involving a lot of carb and sodium loaded snacks and so you probably have a lot of water retention right now.

To lose 45-50 lbs in 90 days you'd need to be in a calorie deficit and aim to consume 1000 calories or so on a daily basis to achieve this. But, you obviously have a high water retention so you won't need to lose that much weight because not all of it is fat.

For example, you could eat 2000 calories but you'd now need to burn 1000 calories to reach your daily goal. You would easily burn 400-500 calories just through the process of getting ready to go to work, travelling to work, being at work for 8 hours, then travelling home and doing small chores around the house on a daily basis is easy. Now you'd need to burn a further 500 calories which can be easy done through cardio for 10-30 minutes depending on intensity coupled with weight lifting.

The main thing is to restrict your calories based upon how active you are. Remember calories in vs calories out is all it takes to gain or lose weight.

If your starting point is 230-240 lbs with no exercise and eating mad junk food full of sodium and carbs then you'll easily lose 8-10 lbs of water weight just by restricting your carbs intake (via keto diet) over a week or two.

If you couple that with Intermittent Fasting and just eat between an 8-10 hour window then that gives your body time to process and get rid of waste efficiently. This will greatly reduce your water weight too.

High intensity exercise whether through weights or cardio will make you lose the most water weight just through perspiration.

A high fibre diet (30-40g a day) will make you shyt and get rid of the waste in your gut obviously making you weigh less.

Drinking water is obviously the best diuretic and as a result not only keeps you hydrated but also flushes your system of toxins which includes excess water weight.

Learn to change your diet by meeting all of your macros at the same time as adhering to all the things I just discussed and you can easily lose the remaining 30-40lbs in 3 months which is more than doable. Keep junk food snacks to just the weekend or once a month to kill your cravings.

It's not rocket science.

Also, the average human doesn't need more than 55-75g of protein a day which has been proven in countless unsponsored studies on the matter so don't fall for protein supplement bullshyt because it's nonsense.

That is all you need to maintain your muscle mass or gain muscle mass. If someone tells you different or some buffed up dude on YouTube tells you otherwise it's only because of affiliate marketing and they get a slice out of you buying said protein supplement.

I’m currently on that journey now and everything preached in here was correct.

I started off at 215 on Nov.19th, and as of this morning I weighed in at 207. Here’s what i do:

First, I weigh myself everyday. Only in the morning after I shyt/pee, so my body is as empty as possible.

I eat hard boiled eggs for breakfast. 2 to 3 only.

I also do intermittent fasting. So I only allow myself to eat from 8 to 5, or the hours I’m at the office.

I make myself walk Around the office complex once a day to get my steps in. It’s about a mile.

I completely cut out juice, milk, tea, coffee, soda, energy drinks, alcohol, sports drinks, etc. In other words, I only drink water. At least a gallon but sometimes closer to 2.

I only eat fruit, veggies, and grilled chicken. I love salads. You can pick up a prepare salad bag with all the fixings and dressings from Kroger for like $3. No candy, fried foods, snacks, carbs, or any of that bullshyt.

I do 60 minutes of cardio 5 days a week. I walk for 10 minutes to warm up, and then I run for 50 minutes straight.

I follow up my cardio by lifting weights. Two muscle groups per day. So Basically, Back/Biceps, Chest/Triceps, Shoulders/Legs, and then a day dedicated to abs. I always rest on Sunday. No working out at all.

I don’t do cheat meals. That’s p*ssy shyt.

My goal is to hit 160 by February 9th, which is my 30th birthday. Truthfully, I’ll probably be under 200 pounds by the end of this week.

The truth is, it’s all in your mind. It’s not easy, but consistency will get you there. When you notice yourself starting to plateau and lose less weight, switch up your workout to keep your body confused.
