Personally, I love being in mah age bracket. I got to grow up and experience da GOAT era of da 90s. Actually being able to be a kid. 82-87' babies know what I'm talmbout.

Also had fun in high school without having to worry bout da threat of mah fukkery being recorded by somebody's nosy ass cell phone getting me into trouble n shyt.

Went off to college, graduated and have been able to live mah dream of getting paid to do what I've loved doing since I was a shorty.:obama:

To be honest I never really understood peoples negative views about getting older. ESPECIALLY when dat "older" is in reference to anything still wit a 2 in front of it. :rudy: . Hell eam early 30's I don't get. Unless you a bum ass mufukka or a deliberate fukk up, I say embrace da shyt. If you're physically taking care of yourself and doing something positive witcha life...give all dat self deprecating ageism bullshyt da heisman brehs. :camby:

A lot of folks don't eam make it to our age. And a lot have it worse than you do. Not to dismiss or devalue your own personal struggles(because we ALL have em..trust :usure: ) but remember things could always be worse. Life is absolutely to short to be givin so much UNNECESSARY energy to shyt you have no real control over.

BUT aging aside, we do have A LOT more control over our lives/direction than we realize mane. See dem storms through yo. :salute:

if your 25 you still have time then. Go to med school, get your mba, or get into a high paying field while you still can and dont look back.

Bruh, thanks for this post. I'm 25 and been thinking about applying to Pharm School, but just felt like my time has passed me by. But fukk it I'ma go for it. I'll PM you one day to say I've been accepted.

Man, alot of people get caught up in getting high paying jobs and have to work 60 hours a week and are on call..... But in the end they feel like its worth it to get that paper and buy or stack for the next thing.

That aint me man, I value free time so much higher over money. I gladly take a week off instead of working extra hours in a heart beat.

I know why most people try to keep that hustle train going and its for the life style that it brings and it keeps your mind so busy you don't have time to worry or focus on life, like really "living" and loving life. Not vacations, and fast cars... but living life and enjoying it with family and friends on a consistent basis.

I'll pass up a 2-4k bump for a "relaxing" stress free job.

What is this stress free job you're talking about? Most jobs are stressful.

@DrX, Breh I'm the same age and this thread speaks to me :to:. Literally a month after I turned 25 last year the :flabbynsick: effect started to permeate my day to day life and inner thoughts like nothing before :wow: I really feel like it's now or never as far as succeeding.

:sadcam: This has been the theme to my life for the last year breh (the studio version anyway):

Where many murders occur
@Elle Driver There are suicide blogs out there where suiciders would blog until they died. Read them to gain perspective on what you really want. One girl was obsessed with dying, and as she came closer to her decision, she felt a tremendous sense of relief. She wasn't unhappy in her last entry, she had reached clarity and a sense of calm. All the comments were by people who didn't understand why she did it, they seemed pretty dumb compared to her.

Same with a guy from SF who blogged till the end. He was fed up with life and wasn't bout to deal with its potential bullshyt. He jumped off the GG bridge, with a defiant, relieved pose as he fell off.

They say that suicide is the same as telling God "You can't fire me... I quit."
