It's because the servers there are the lowest class of white people. Trust me, most of them live in trailer parks and are typically just rednecks to the core. Add in the fact the type of people Cracker Barrel attracts, and yeah, and racist vibe will indeed permeate in the atmosphere.

Take it from a guy whose leaving the food serving business within 2 weeks: the second a black family or couple come through the door, the thought that's going on in every server's mind is "I don't want those ******s" or "I don't want those ghetto people" and most servers will say it out loud.

took a road trip down south with some friends once and all along the i95 in the carolinas and georgia there were cracka barrels. we stopped at two of them and we def. got that vibe at both places. the food was salty as fukk too
