clearly, the NBA

you only have a roster of 12 players to assemble

its easier to know whether you have the tools to succeed or not

I disagree... With the way the Nba is structured you make one false move...and you set back.. If u suck and your draft has no franchise changing players in it... You done..and in the NBA you can rarely draft depth...nowadays you need atleast three impact players to suceed.. That means 25 percent of your players roster who probabaly make up 75 percent of your payroll HAVE TO WORK!!! And you gotta make sure people come to the games..

NFL you can correct almost any mistake at anytime when you see its not working.. You can draft depth.. You can draft franchise.. You have more opportunities to find diamonds in the rough..

The yankess also are in contention... The mets dont contend bc they really dont have direction..

Finding diamonds in the rough isn't easy though. The question wasn't which sport provides you with more options to rebuild it was which sport is it easier to build a winning team. 3 impact players makes you a contender in the NBA it doesn't even guarantee you a playoff spot in NFL or MLB. You have to put way more work in to spot the diamonds and you have to find way more diamonds in MLB and NFL just to make the playoffs in comparison to the NBA.

LMAO at the nba being easy, if the nba was so easy their would be championship disparity. market matters more in the nba more than any other league. even with drafting it's the most difficult out of the 3

You do understand the difference between relative (easier) and definitive (easy) right?

A bad GM can flourish in the NBA if he stumbles into the right player or two. Stumbling into the right player or two in baseball or football doesn't really do much for you in terms of winning. You have far more moving parts to find and to fill the team with than you do in basketball. That's my basis for saying it's easier.

in the nfl as well as mlb you can find a diamond outside of the first round with drafting, in the nba 9/10s they might not even make the team.

In the ocean where the sharks be at
Championships? Baseball. Great players can be found in the 500th round and shyt. Plus you can upgrade your roster more easily in baseball as opposed to the other sports as long as you're willing to spend money or give up prospects. In football you need an elite QB or your team ain't shyt aside from a fluke season. Basketball?:rudy: If you ain't got a top 5 nikka on your squad then:stopitslime:

You have to find more diamonds though. One diamond can make you a playoff team in the NBA. One diamond really does nothing for you in MLB and NFL.

being a 6-7-8 seed in the nba isn't something the fans nor the gm will be proud of it's nba purgatory

You be hard pressed to find a second round drafted player take you to the chip or even consistent playoffs spots in the nba...in fact.. Other than agent zero i cant even think of a second round player being the man and taking his team to the playoffs.

Everybody in the nfl draft can help.. Even if that player is just a situational player..Nfl give you more opportunities to win.

I didn't know that was the topic. Are NFL fans proud when they have a stud on defense and nothing around him and they don't sniff the playoffs? Are baseball fans proud when they have a stud 5 tool guy and they don't sniff the playoffs. The point is in the NBA one guy will do more for you than in MLB and NFL. It is easier to find one guy than it is to find the right mix of guys it takes to make a team playoff caliber in MLB and NFL.

You be hard pressed to find a second round drafted player take you to the chip or even consistent playoffs spots in the nba...in fact.. Other than agent zero i cant even think of a second round player being the man and taking his team to the playoffs.

You know why you don't see low rd draft picks flourish in the NBA more often? Because it is much easier to spot talent. It's easier to spot the best players and they are usually thoroughly hyped up before they even get to the league so they rarely if ever fall. It's usually pretty easy to see their impact or ability. It doesn't take as much work to find the star caliber guys. Whereas with the NFL you have to weed between the guys who should be low round picks to find those diamonds in the rough. You gotta put work in in order to find these guys. You have more opportunities because you have more spots to fill and you also have more opportunities to fukk up. You gotta be thorough in drafting round by round and year by year in MLB and NFL rather than just hitting a homerun with the top pick and being okay. You have to account for so many positions and so many moving parts in both baseball and football while in basketball it is much more simple.

NFL

I got to hit on my first and second round pick most of the time. My third pick is a starter on whack teams and depth on a good team. 4-7 developmental pick. FA pick up to fill holes.
