You literally just answered your own question using my logic to do so. The amount of quality black males was MUCH higher then, so when a woman was dealing with a black man she wasn't likely to end up with a deadbeat. That is NOT the case now.

The divorce rates between black males and white women are the highest of any pairing at 75% with the white women initiating 95% of the divorces. Geesh you know you've got to be terrible husband material when someone normally files for divorce at a rate of 75%, but it jumps to 95% when marrying you.

She wasn't likely to have a kid out of wedlock. Why is that? Also there were worthless black men that existed back then also, so why didn't those women procreate with those men but instead chose to marry and procreate with the good black men?
Also why were the quality of black men so good back then? Isn't it because a lot of black women were CHOOSING good black men instead of worthless black men. This caused there to be a patriarchy and a good father figure in the child's life, which produced good black men. Then when black women started thinking they could raise a child on their own after they procreated with a worthless man,or kicked a good father out the way children didn't have a father figure.

You say that the fine upscale restaurants are moving to where they can be appreciated, but the clients in the new area realize after sampling these "cast out" restaurants that they are not up to par and they never have been. The last portion of your comment is nonsense, and the first portion can be answered once again using my logic. The good black males back them far outnumbered the deadbeats which is why black women didn't procreate with them. There were hardly any to procreate with. Today they make up a significant portion of the black male population. Let's also not paint that era as some kind of Black familial Utopia because that is not the case at all.
