Everybody has to choose better partners I agree with @Booksnrain she brought up a good point. Neither side should settle and our priorities and qualities we look for in a mate should be shifted/changed. I mean, I've actually heard black/men women saying what makes them marriage "quality" is the fact that they have degrees and no kids lol. That line of thinking is inherently broken. When you talk about qualities of marriage you'd think more in line of mother like qualities for example nurturing, patient, understanding, etc. And it comes from both sides. When we talk about these issues within the black community, I'm thinking more in line of black American and maybe Caribbean, not African which is why I find it hilarious that @agnosticlady who comes from a two parent African home is trying to act like she can really tell black American posters like @Panthera @bcrusaderw etc. we're wrong for what we say. You're not in the community boo. And I'll keep bringing that up because her comments hold no credence.

But me and @mamba are. We know how fukked up our community is. We know how black women select men, and we know 99.9% of the problems are the black woman's doing. You can try and dismiss her, but you can't dismiss us.

I find it hilarious that you don't call out @Yup and @LadySimone who don't even live in America, yet they ALWAYS have something bad to say about black men. I was raised in America. LMAO, if I agreed with your asinine line of thinking you wouldn't even bring up my nationality.

I've called them out plenty a time.

But it's funny you're always in these threads pandering. I don't give a shyt if you were raised in America, you're not of black American slave descent. You probably speak your native tongue too.

:sas1:Very ironic you'd show a picture of Mufasa. The Biggest example of a Disney character that preached RESPONSIBILITY and ACCOUNTABILITY. Something African American women know nothing about :pachaha:

Tell me more about you knowing every African American woman and her not taking accountability for every thing that is wrong with every one individual... Oh and don't leave out the collective accountability part

I'll wait :francis:

You mean @mamba the same fool who says black women have "under developed minds". You both sound like you're mad life handed you a bad hand and want to blame black women for all your problems.

Lmao bytch have a seat. I don't speak Okrika (my native tongue). Everyone that I come across thinks that I am Afro Caribbean specifically Bahamian. Nor am I embarrassed about where I am from. If an African man was in here speaking about how much he loves African American women and black American men need to man up you wouldn't say shyt but agree. If you're going to go in on my nationality have a better reason. Lol because I'm Nigerian I have no idea what I'm talking about LMAO.

I'm not even married to a black American (before you call me a cat lady like you always the fukk resort to @Panthera is married too :comeon:). You come across naive, with little to no life experience. Black men and women both need to be held accountable. If you actually cared, you'd be a bit more balanced with your opinions but I'd chalk it up to your age. But then again, I was a lot smarter than you at 21, or whatever age you happen to be. I also wouldn't be proud to not speak my native tongue either.

I'll wait :francis:

Oh i have a question for you babygirl. Answer this.....

Mamba said " Black women are frustrated because the men they actually want either 1) can't get right or 2) don't want them.Instead of choosing from the pool of men who don't fit in those two categories, they'd rather complain and paint all Black men with a broad brush, saying we are ALL criminals, deadbeats, under- or unemployed, gay or chasing after white women. That's not the case. There are plenty of decent Black men to go around for decent Black women."

My question is this.....

(1) Why can't black women choose from the pool of men who don't fit those two categories?

I'll wait :francis:

I've already said that @Panthera is married to a lapdog. With the way she runs her mouth no man with self worth is going to put up with her. Show me where I said that Black men in America should not be held accountable. Show me exactly where I said Black men in America have no flaws out all what so ever. I am balanced with my opinions and I have no problem calling out a black man or black men that participate in fukkery. The reason why I even joined the coli was because I wanted to express my opnion about Dr.Umar Jhonson being hypocrite. You go on and on about black women not wearing weaves, acting like queens and blah blah blah but you are willingly sleeping with a stripper/single mother with multiple kids. The same woman you tell black women not to be like. The issue is that with many black women in America is that none like to take accountability. Nothing is ever a black womans fault - Nothing. There are many things out there about where black men fall short or what is wrong with black men. It hasn't been until recently that black men have actually collectively started speaking out about the flaws that black women have.
I don't care how smart you were at 21. If you consider the way you think now to be smart then you were probably dumber than a box of rocks. Did you win the brain bowl? You want a trophy? Lol you're more than likely an educated fool.

Secondly you just tried to diss me because of my nationality and speaking my native language. I clearly said that I am proud to be Nigerian. I never said that I was proud about not being fluent in my language lmao.

Also the question is about faithlessness in the black community. Why are there black women having MORE kids out of wedlock after having one child out of wedlock and knowing how hard it was. Didn't they learn the first time around? What is the excuse now for having two to four kids out of wedlock. I can understand giving birth to one child or twins out of wedlock. People make mistakes when they are young. Why do they go back and get pregnant again?

I won the trophy. Smart and beautiful. :lawd:

You randomly brought up the fact that you look Bahamian like that had anything to do with anything. What that gotta do with the fact that you'se an African, born in American, but not of black American descent thinking your opinion holds any weight? :comeon:

Let's hope that "cat lady" trope you keep throwing around don't come back to bite you in the ass chile. :sas1:

Why the focus on black women? The problem is two fold.
