Also why does the music on this show sound so mid-00's anyway? It's not like I want to see a bunch of swag/druggie/weirdo trap rappers but that's what the scene is like now. Hakeem is at best a Tyga or a Jojo Simmons at worse. There would be no hype for a rapper like him in this era, same for Freda Gatz.

Go see if you can make it though an episode of "The Cape", "Viva Laughlin", that stupid show about teh Geico cavemen, "Doubt", or that show with Christian Slater that only lasted 5 episodes.

I don't even like Empire, but it's nowhere near as bad as some of the garbage that gets put on the air every year. Hell I'd argue Iron Fist is worse than Empire.
