Explain to me what made the other 3 guys better than Henry? I saw Peterson so my mind can't be changed on that, Adrian Peterson was not better than this guy...

Peterson not better than Faulk, possibly not better than Diet Faulk. So at best AD the 4th greatest back of the last quarter century...

Can't change my mind about guys I saw but I am interested in what you saw from the first 3 guys you named, that made them better than Henry...

I'm a Marshawn Stan but no, stop it 🤣...

@premier58 come revisit this Henry conversation, bruh!
Im about to, now. I hope I didnt say anything bad. Let me reread the thread, first, my G.

I mean hell has Derrick Henry surpassed Shaun Alexander?

I know longevity also matters but if we're going by guys at their peak are you taking Henry over guys like Le'Veon Bell, Todd Gurley, Priest Holmes?

I think Steven Jackson is better imo. Henry not even the best Titans RB to hit 2K in a season to keep it a buck

This might be the craziest post I’ve seen in the Coliseum this year and actually has people co-signing it?!

I don’t care about his MVP, if you watched both players, there is no way on planet earth that you could actually think Alexander was better. Not to mention he had Hutchinson, Jones, and a great running scheme designed for him. This is absurd.

I understand you’re a Vikings fan. I have Peterson anywhere from #1-3 over the past twenty years. But, to question if Henry is even better than Alexander and S-Jax is blasphemous. No other way to say it. :dead: .

Edit: I forgot that you even said CJ2k was better. Come on!

Walter Payton is not only the best running back that I ever saw, but he is the best football player that I ever say.

You can suggest that Adrian Peterson is a top 10 running back in NFL history, and nobody would think you're crazy. Now suggest Derrick Henry is a top 10 running back, you'll quickly be laughed out of the room.:pachaha:

I don’t think it’s ridiculous for someone to think Henry is better. Prime for prime it is very close.

Let’s not forget that Peterson had significant fumbling issues (Henry’s are worse than I thought though) and also had Steve Hutchinson during a handful of those years.

I’ll only go back to 2000 on this, but I think it’s Henry, Peterson, and Tomlinson. Rank them however one may please.

A healthy Cmac is there too.
Fumbles dont mean shyt

All the greatest RBs in history fumbled

Walter Payton fumbled over 80 times

Eric dikkerson had 19 fumbles in one season

He's having somewhat an overrated season imo. Pair Adrian Peterson or any of the other all-time greats with Lamar in that Ravens scheme/line and they'd destroy all sorts of records.

Hasn't been anywhere near this good for a couple of years. And those 4.3 Y/A seasons he's been having is closer to his actual level without the greatest rushing QB ever.

That I've seen?

In a season LT had as many Rushing/Receiving touchdowns as Peyton Manning had passing touchdowns.

I don't think we'll ever see a single season like 2006 again.

At his peak, 2 seasons with the team on his back:
3300 yards rushing
46 rushing touchdowns

Over 100 receptions, ~900 receiving yards w/ 5 touchdowns
5 Passing touchdowns

Additionally, was an elite blocker.

LaDainian was a monster and an insane red zone weapon where his value really shined. A healthy LT doesn't end with 7 FG's against Moss Patriots in the AFCCG.
