I think the best RB I've ever seen was LaDainian Tomlinson.

He could do it all.

I know the popular choice is Adrian Peterson, but I just didn't get it.

And sure, Barry Sanders was amazing.

I just think if I had to pick 1 guy who didn't really have a weakness I'm taking Tomlinson.

Marshall Faulk would be my 2nd choice.
And for sentimental reasons, Ricky Williams will be my 3rd.

I'm older than you...

You didn't see Eric dikkerson, Walter Payton and Barry run in their primes

I have..

Derrick Henry is an all time great and a 1st ballot HOFer

He's not better than AD

I don’t think it’s ridiculous for someone to think Henry is better. Prime for prime it is very close.

Let’s not forget that Peterson had significant fumbling issues (Henry’s are worse than I thought though) and also had Steve Hutchinson during a handful of those years.

I’ll only go back to 2000 on this, but I think it’s Henry, Peterson, and Tomlinson. Rank them however one may please.

A healthy Cmac is there too.

Always believed Carolina should have drafted Derrick Henry back then.

Not that I necessarily believe he was better than Christian McCaffrey, but because I knew Carolina couldn't utilize Christian McCaffrey the right way (Like a Diet Faulk as @murksiderock would say).

S/o to Henry though, I think he's done enough to prove he's an all-time great.

Random, but I'll argue young Clinton Portis is probably the best pure RB I've seen.

If Henry keep showing out for my ravens, I’ll put him in that 5 spot lol

Nah AD's 2012 season alone says otherwise. It's a reason he's probably gonna be the last RB to win MVP for a while

All Day was different
He won MVP because he had Christian Ponder handing off to him 🤣 Henry ran for 2k with a better QB than Ponder, so that hurts the comparable seasons, then he did that in a year Fraudgers threw 50 touchdowns and was a 13-win 1 seed...

AD'S 2k year, not only did he have a shytty quarterback, the passing leader that year was from a 7-9 team. He not winning it in '12 if Brees had the Saints as a 13-win 1 seed...

Only people I ever hear gas McCaffrey as an All-Timer on that level are white people, I swear to god 🤣 and I live here in Carolina, people love him here and didn't wanna see him go...

McCaffrey is great and one of the better backs of the last decade but he really only had one elite year in Carolina, and one elite year in SF. Mf always hurt, 2 elite seasons in 8 years, yall gotta stop putting him in these All-Time conversations. Please 🤣...

You also forget he won that MVP after running for 2,097 yards after tearing his ACL/MCL in Week 15 the prior year :pachaha:

This nikka has Bettis over Henry. Come on,bro...

Davis had a 3-year run and it was over, shouldn't even be in Canton. Henry's been great twice as long...

I saw the last 40% of Emmitt's career. Admittedly, I missed his peak and prime. But nothing I saw or went back and looked at, made me think he's better than Henry...

Bo Jackson, come on dawg...

AD no, Diet Faulk, no. Gale Sayers, come on bruh...

Dorsett didn't peak as high as Henry and while he played longer than TD, Dorsett really only had a 3-year run, too...

I respect Jim Brown, Faulk, Barry, dikkerson, OJ, and Sweetness, to me those are the 6 greatest backs ever, whatever order. Henry isn't at that stage yet...

He's knocking on Top 10 status though and he's on par with every single other name besides those 6, and better than most of em...

I mean hell has Derrick Henry surpassed Shaun Alexander?

I know longevity also matters but if we're going by guys at their peak are you taking Henry over guys like Le'Veon Bell, Todd Gurley, Priest Holmes?

I think Steven Jackson is better imo. Henry not even the best Titans RB to hit 2K in a season to keep it a buck
