Another thing, I'm still researching and building for my AD/Henry thread, but I'm almost convinced the two-year peak is higher than AD. Henry's last 36 games, dating to Week 14 2018, is higher than any consecutive 36-game stretch Peterson ever produced...

Again as I said in another thread, overall he aint next to AD without the longevity but I've seen enough, the peak between the two is higher with Henry, albeit not by some grand margin. Go look at this nikka last 36 games, better yet, when I get that thread ready I'll directly compare the best 36 for both...

They said you were a madman :wow:

With a rookie qb who barely got 55 pass yards and niccas stacking the box :wow:

I been telling people for over two years that we are watching an All-Timer in real time right in front of us. It's always hard to acknowledge it, but I saw it bro. Again, he's got to stretch his career, you gotta have some longevity of this level of play to have historical mention with AD, Barry, the true GOATs, but fam is well on his way to having that kinda longevity...

He's one of the greatest running backs to play pro football, alota muhfukkas are gonna be late to recognizing it but it doesn't change the fact! And Willis is garbage 🤣...

Time to revisit this...

Before his last carry on Sunday, Henry had 14 carries for 41 yards. Baltimore couldn't commit to the run because they were trailing all game and even when he got it, Henry was ineffective...

Cincy missed that kick in OT and on the very next play, Baltimore hands off to Henry and he rips off a 51-yard run. The legend of him being a clutch back as the game wears on adds another play, this was a legendary moment...

I told yall years ago he's better than Adrian Peterson. I'm 35, I saw AD's whole career. Henry is better. He's nearing a point we start comparing him to older All-Timers...

I’ve told people since he first showed up in a Titans uni that he is one of Earl Cambells stray bullets

You can’t convince me otherwise, their games are far too similar

Derrick Henry is an all time great and a 1st ballot HOFer

maybe the greatest power back

north to south there's a train on the track type style

i prefer the shifty can't put a hand on his jersey type backs but that's just a style choice

AD is better imo

But to the bolded, that was a common thing back in the day with great backs. Running backs would be having horrible games averaging 1-2 ypc for the game, then all of sudden in the 4th or the clutch they'd break long ass runs and numbers would look good. The greats all got stronger as the game went on. It's just something we don't see anymore because the game has shifted. It might be going back to that though.

AD is better. He was more of a power back in the backfield. For as big as Henry is, he doesn't have the power in the backfield that AD did.
