I think what makes an ill villain is purpose. Someone that can do some of the most evil things imaginable and truly believe he is either the good guy and/or doing the right thing.

Being evil for the sake of being evil is just :shaq2:

This scene alone got me hooked on Darkseid alone of the GOAT villians.

Superman: :fire::damn::sadbron:

That was one of the gulliest scenes in weekday/saturday morning cartoon history I think it was the 1st time I seen a non anime character die in a cartoon.
